A lot happened in this episode. So Mika was really just Mika after all, she underwent plastic surgery to look like Selty. A nice twist, which wasn't a twist at all to me since I've already been spoiled about it weeks ago... snif...

- The Shinra x Selty scenes were so great... and sweet. I'm sure many people with love it. I'm expecting some angry sex doujins in the near future.

- Walker and Erika are truly Isaac and Miria's counterpart. SUGOI SUGOI SUGOOOOOIIIII!!

- For a guy who claims there's still many things unknown to him in the city, Izaya sure knows a shit-ton of them. The way he "played" with Selty's head was creepy... So Namie is on the run now, I'm guessing she's going to stick with Izaya, they go well together IMO. I mean, she managed to listen to his loooong speech without even trying to strangle him, that's a keeper right there ! I doubt he's going to find any better . I'm not sure if the fact he was the one in contact with Mika was supposed to be a twist, we already guessed it right away thanks to the mail address. And what was it that made Mikado realize Izaya is Kanra? I totally missed it.

- Seiji apologized but he's still kind of douche. If I understood well, he told Mika he doesn't love her but he'll stay with her until he finds Selty simply she looks like her... maybe I'm wrong.

- BLUSHING ANRI DAAAAAWWWW Mikado was kind of moe too
And the next episode will be narrated by her ! Finally !

• Wow that pickgun's kinda pro, and freaking Izaya adding salt to injury at the end made me feel soooo good.
• AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE SHINRA CELTY SCENE THAT I WAS WAITING FOR (I WATCHED THIS INSTEAD OF DTB2 AND KISSXSIS JUST FOR THIS SCENE) AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Celty's rage! Shinra's confession (lol so his dad's the jerkface)! Celty's fear! Shinra's acceptance! Celty's acceptance! FALCON PAUUNNCCHHH (lol no hesitation)! AWESOME HUG! Lol ninja punch! Looks like that last person in the OP finally show up. Dude with the gas mask that appears on the left of Shizuo in the OP as we are facing him near the end.

While 2nd half of the episode is wrapping up and revelations, first part's super awesome mega win!~~ Totally worth budgeting the episode into the weekly time slot to watch it early~!!

I LOVE Shinra-Celty's scene. So sweet, so touching especially the part where Shinra knocked Celty's helmet off and hugged her. Soooo adorable!! *Iamsuchafangirl*

Also, the rooftop scene... I totally thought at the moment Mikado was brave enough to be the one giving a flower to her. The next scene proves me wrong. Anri and Mikado's blushing were very cute, so I will forgive Mikado this time. (lol)

And about Izaya and Celty's head... I wonder how he's going to cover himself up in case his nasty secrets got blown out. He made tons of enemies waiting to chop his head off. The only reason they still spare him is because they don't know he's the one who's been back-stabbing them all this time. Shizuo seems to be the only one who can see his true nature. Even Shinra got tricked by Izaya, though I'm not sure if the guy would be thankful that Izaya's been keeping Celty's head away from her.

This overall episode is heartwarming (except the last bit with Izaya). Can't wait for the next. The next two weeks are going to be a total torture.

Izaya was totally behind every. Single. Effin. Thing. Yet I don't feel a bit of remorse to his actions. On the contrary, I... Actually like him more. @_@;; Probably since I have set my jerk-ass meter people to more than maximum already since more than 5 years ago! And not to mention most of my favs males are... Well, jerk is understatement. Seriously wonder what's gonna happen with the head if Celty ever find it out, as much as she seems to have let go of the thoughts of getting her head back at the moment.

Celty's punch was awesome! Seriously I let out some "Kyaaaaaa~~~" in the Shinra and Celty's scene a lot A bit violent tsundere with a masochist underground doctor makes a great and compatible pairing I see! <333 Now for my not-so-sikrit other pairing that always destroy the house (Ikebukuro) objects to get more screen...

tl;dr: Celty and Shinra's scene in the episode is beyond satisfying <3333333

Mikado KICK~! was... So. Moe. So very moe that I just died. Kida sulking (or something along that line) in the background was <3 Anri and Mikado's blush was making me blushing so much. The confession is still a long, long time I see, Narrator Celty!

Oh and final note: Mikado realizing Izaya as nekama Kanra = Pure LOL.

Pretty much excellent episode, except a bit more of downbeat from the last episode! Although this episode only earned a 9 from me since I was a bit irked at Seiji (... Though that "OMG D8" face was beyond satisfying. GJ Izaya in voicing my thoughts! 8Db) and Mika's voice annoys me. ... Actually Izaya's does too at one point, but I brushed it off easily because HiroC always sound adowable do-uke no matter what role he is in and how annoying the dialogues are! *whistles*

The pacing was a little lax, but that's to be expected for an episode that consists of tying up the loose ends.

The Shinra/Celty resolution was, by far, the most well-done moment, and the most needed as well. Celty had to come to terms with who she was without the head and Shinra had to come clean. He vocalizes the characterization of the couple: despite the superficial, Shinra is the monster in the relationship.

Though Izaya's screentime was dense with exposition, it was also necessary information. His farewell revelation that he knows Mikado's online identity was a nice little punch to punctuate the exposition.

This episode is another reason why I really enjoy and love this anime this season.

- Anri actually blushing and smiling, which is rare to see
- Izaya's rather sadistic and playful attitude towards Celty's head
- Mika is Mika after all with some damn good plastic surgery. (She deserves someone better than violent, obsessive, short-fused Seiji though... <.<)

Yeah it was cheesy, though it was so awesome, and fit the scene perfectly.

That was quite possibly Izaya's best performance yet in the show. & Namie shows how awesome she is by being able to stand it all.

It was shocking that Mika was just Mika after all. I thought the head Mika had right now was Celty's head.

What's the point in having Celty's head then? As a souvenir?

WTF? No new episode next week? Dammit it's hard enough waiting one week.

Well, that was a pretty awesome episode from start to finish. I was surprised when "Selty" started acting like Mika again but it wasn't a mind blowing revelation, more like a plot twist with several well placed foreshadowing bits (like, how would she know how to use email chat? Celty knows but she has had 20 years to keep up with technology). I've seen a novel reader or two be annoyed at how Izaya was behind everything (apparently he wasn't in the book, and it sounds like we missed out on a Mika Crowning Moment of Awesome as well, just like Eve in Baccano I suppose).
And the little bit towards the end that was narrating what Mikado would do next was adorable. I need to make a demotivator or two out of that screenshot, who knew that Mikado could do kung fu? XD
Next episode: Finally, hope we get some info on why I've been seeing a lot of very spoilery fanart of Anri out there. And I hope we get an episode soon that's narrated by Walker and Erika jointly, those two stole the little scene they were in.

Wowowo wow wow, can I say wow again?

The way the story has come together and brought together a lot of the loose ends all I can say is wow!

I've never seen so many expressions of love expressed in a show never mind one episode. Can I say wow again please?

Loved the music, loved the art and the voice acting was to die for. I've been voting 9 so far, just because there was something that was missing, but after this episode I realised it was deliberate. 10 and again wow!!! This is definitely a show that could never be judged on the first few episodes, it was like master composer building up to that special moment....

Wait there is still more episodes!!!! I can't wait!

First time I've fancied a headless woman, but the VA just makes her character wonderful. Shinra you are a selfish but lovely diamond I'm shipping for you two to have a long and wonderful life together.

Mikado needs to get a white cat!

This was a good episode for what it was (bringing lots of things to resolution).

I haven't been quiet about my dislike of Shinra, so I was really happy that he got punched so hard he got knocked on his ass.

Izaya really is a master manipulator. I'm not sure he is evil, but he certainly can be described as amoral.

Personally I think evil should be judged on each action. Right now I think he is just stewing the pot to create a real juicy fun time for himself. He still has been involved (even though indirectly) in an attempted suicide for his own enjoyment.

I love Shinra and I think him and Celty are wonderful together!

Can I state that Im sooooo glad Mika's head wasnt Celty's!!! Even after the stating it suppose to be hers, I was sceptical and good thing I was!

Figured Shinra knew, I really loved him in that scene with Celty thou and Im glad she punched him

Really another great ep, excellent resolution with a nice plot twist on top.

Shinra and Celty's "heart to heart" was really well done and hopefully they will "both" be more honest with each to prevent further "mishaps"in the future. Despite still being a bit of douchebag Seiji is lucky to have someone like Mika who's willing to risk her life for him, with how weird their love works they're perfect for each other. Mikado finding out Izaya being "Kanra" was pretty "lol" moment too, so only Celty is in the dark (no pun intended).

The end setup had some nice foreshadowing for Celty, Mikado and Izaya. I wonder how far Mikado's desire for an extraordinary will lead him? For his sake I hope he doesn't end up regretting it. While Celty realizes she doesn't need her head to feel whole now I don't she will give up on looking for it, if only to close that chapter in her life. Izaya being pretty much the mastermind behind most of events isn't that much of a surprise and now he wants "war" using the "head" to forfill some myth huh? One can only imagine what kinds chaos that's going to cause.

Next ep now finally gives a certain character much need screentime and introduces a guy in a gas mask.... wonder if he's from Nebula?

BTW, Oh man will I miss this OP & ED. Just the new ones at least close to being as good.

Forgot to add, but Izaya calling Mikado "Boss" was pretty funny.

I always avoid these topics because of the novel spoilers people lurve to post, but this week I had to make an exception so I could come and say how absolutely amazing Izaya was in this episode. What a character.
