Ques! This has probably been asked before but what program do you use to make the gifs? I have one, though Ive never opened it (cant remember what I have either ) I think I need to start making some animated ones to fill my own gif needs XD So what do you use/what do you recommend

Now we're in Fall, but as usual it's during the Summer that I lack gif activity ^_^

I'm not promising batches of gifs for all these shows , let's say I'm following them as well as my inspiration
By the way, in my user profile I list all the series I am currently watching, to be short you can expect gifs from any of them (I just added Shugo Chara which is very cute) ^_^

I think I made a couple from Ouverture but that's it. I've watched the series later than they aired. In case of a third season I'll be there though

With the old pc: I used VirtualDub to extract frames and Photoshop CS2 , especially the included program ImageReady, to produce the gifs. Also Avisynth if you have mkv or mp4 files and the alike (h264, x264 etc.)

With the new pc: I still use VirtualDub but I extract videoclips instead of frames. Then I open them and do the work on Photoshop CS3. I have yet to find an option/trick to import frames in CS3 (if there is), but I don't seem to need it. The new pc works faster than light so even carrying here and there 90 mb clips (and loading them) ends up being a very quick and simple job. But I guess a very strong computer is needed, I could have never used this process with the old, slow one. Of course I'm talking of massive animated gifs production. If it's one here and there, then either should be fine.

But, if you ask me what I would recommend, my answer will still be VirtualDub + CS2's ImageReady.

Jokes asides, various things happened but now they're sort of gone and I'm also returned to consistent gif production. Here's my first serious take on CLANNAD (a series that I hadn't even touched - except for 1 gif - yet).

Lol, that's what I thought too, when I made the gif. Blanka brings a lot of memories, I always picked him when playing SF2, and almost always ended the game I liked the azure Blanka too. Though Chun-li obviously my favourite ^^ (through the opponents, I liked Vega and Sagat).
