The manga is very poignant...it's not just for shock value like someone else said. I would put off judging the manga if you haven't read it. |

*raise hand*.Yeah,i am confused too.I don't know if this has anything to do with the story so far that seem random or the animation. Some of the animes with better animation that i have been watching are underrated as well.

If more people would give this series a try, i'm pretty certain they'd understand what makes it so good.
For me it's the character interaction, especially in episode 02. That together with just how fun this show can be to watch. Seeing as though there's plenty of manga material, i hope 10 episodes doesn't mean it'll be rushed.

I think the main problem with this anime is the first two episodes. They were really confusing for me (Who's not familliar with the manga). They were so fast paced that they just didn't make sense.
The third episode was much better, and made me want to check out teh next few episodes. |

its just that the pacing of the first 2 episodes were quite fast rather than the conventional "lets take our time to explain every events that happened before this series" type.
i got the message on my first watch, probably because of the manga. o yeah, on another note, THIS SERIES IS VERY VERY UNDERRATED!!!! |

Just watched the first 3 episodes. The first two were confusing because 1, they were mixed around like jumped from the first manga to the 4th, and it was pretty confusing. But after episode 3, it became pretty epic and cool. Looking forward for episodes 4th, 5th and 6th to be subbed ^^.

Hey all,
Episode 5's summary + thoughts is out in my blog. I also provided a link for the screenshots in .bmp format. By the way, LKK, can you tell me the name of the little girl. I got a feeling i got her name wrong as usual :P |

^^ The little girl's name is Larawell. This story is from volume 02. We've jumped backwards in the manga's timeline.
Spoiler for ep 5 versus manga:

*shrugs* Larawell is how it's spelled in the manga. I'm not in the least bit qualified to question the transliteration.
Spoiler for Deathkillz's comments:

The ANN cast list tells us he does show up eventually, so I don't know why they cut him from this episode. Since he's such a major character in the series, I would think earlier would be better.
Larawell is just one possible romanization of ララウェル. It may not be the best way to spell it. Heads up: Episode 7 has a character named ルドヴィカ which the English manga romanized as the Polish name Ludwika (the Polish "w" is pronounced as a "v"). This series has all kinds of wacky names... |
