It just seems to be another clue that Kida is the "Shogun" they talked about, he gave the same advice to Mikado in the first episode. But of course, it's not like Kida is the only one wary of Izaya so it might not mean much. Another thing that hints at Kida in this episode is that it was implied that the Shogun is no longer in the gang, since the new members have never met him.

Did anyone else catch that at the beginning of the episode (when the reporter was remembering the last time he got beat up by Shizou) that he and Tom were off to talk to a teacher who couldn't keep his hands off his students? And wasn't the pervy teacher facing off with Celty when the slasher first appeared in the series? I'm wondering if one of those events caused the other or if the teacher is just in deeper trouble than we thought.
Poor Togusa, that was a door from his van that Shizou ripped off wasn't it? And I loved that little convo about Walker's past attempts at writing (really, who hasn't been there?).

You mean that he is going to "try". Shizuo is probably the stronger guy to appear in the series.
I think the russian sushi guy might rival him in strength, but Shizue power is not just super stregnth but he is super resilient.

The relationship between Kida's girlfriend and Izaya might have some connection to that, intruigingly she seem to be the one person Izaya really cares for. Maybe he did something to save her, or had some involvement in the breakup of the Yellow scarves that showed their leader how dangerous he can be.

Hentai-sensei is more like a tool, from what I gather, the slasher is like an infectious disease...one stab (or slash, your pick) and it's "take over" time! It would make sense if the preview girl is
a) demented past version of Anri who left her hair grow after her parents died (as in, the current one's hallucinating), or
b) the original slasher, despite the lack of red eyes...looks crazy enough

Maybe you can get it covered in Ikebukuro if you "encounter a wild Shizuo"

Random encounters with wild Shizous are quite common in Ikebukuro. But insurance doesn't cover it because wild Shizuos are like natural disasters, no one can stop them and a lot of destruction happens around them.

-Shizuo was awesome in this episode lol and great teaming with Celty. They make awesome team. For some odd reason I start shipped up Shizuo x Celty O_o but find them as awesome best firend.

-The episode feel like pairing Shizuo x Saika. Since the Saika are in love with him?

-OH Izaya your like little kid inside who want to be girl. lol This is the reason why I like him,
We need more character like him.

- God I feel bad for Reportor, he trying his best support his daughter. Yet show at the end the show doesn't seem pretty at all. And just when I start to like him. His seem like a good dad to. Damn his wife for runing of to some where.

-Wow Haruna look super creepy in the next episode.

-lol I like to see Togusa's face next episode about his van.

Anri again feels like the weak link in this show. All the other characters are somewhat interesting while she's just bland.

I swear if the Sensei doesn't get mutilated alive...I'll be seriously disappointed. I suspect that he's the primary cause of the current events so far. I also feel a little bad for the reporter; hope nothing serious happened to him.

That was so funny when the 3 yellows wanted to take out Celty, only to realise... too late... who the guy dressed as a bartender is. That was precious.

I think that is the point? All of the characters contrast each other. However, I wouldn't call her bland. She has less going on now, but her past had a lot more turmoil than we first thought.

I dont remember the teacher facing off against Celty but I definitely heard what Tom said and I pray to kami they show it!! Either Shizzy beating the crap outta him or Celty going after him.

Celty midly fangirling over Shizzy was so cute. Gah could she get any cuter.

Well nice to see it is really the blade that possess the person, makes me wonder who had it when those girls attacked Anri.
