I felt it in my bones Dio would lose, but this just goes to show why making the tournament for only recent anime was important - no one likes seeing a classic get taken down by some-one new, hence putting emphasis on the more recent characters.
Next round, Kaiji. Charles di Britannia gave a pretty charismatic speech, but that was it. Kaiji's shown more than enough shrewdness and guts to earn my respect.

I never watched Jo Jo and I still voted for Dio, Even though I love Hosaka he is not what I would consider GAR. But I still loled at the results.
And now I will probably vote for him in his next round just because I don't care about anyone in the next group (although I voted for the Emperor). |

Oh yes! Good going, Hosaka!
Next round is harder for me though. The Emperor of Britannia just doesn't have enough screen time to justify a vote; I haven't watched Kaiji yet (I'm waiting for it to finish for a batch marathon); and as much as I love Despair Sensei, so much so that I'll probably go knife to knife with Chiri herself for him, "Zetsuboushita!" isn't exactly the most GAR of catchphrases. I'll probably abstain unless somebody convinces me otherwise...? |

Good job, Hosaka-senpai. I can't see how he would be a undeserving winner, unless you're counting memes.
Today, burn those that call Kaiji moe. It's the same kind that voted Viral over Raoh. I can't really explain on how Kaiji is GAR, but he's got my vote. Shouldering the debt of Ishida and gambling an ear for the sake of the Brave Men is really something. If the Emperor wins, WHAT OF IT? If Itoshiki wins, I'll be in despair, although I don't dislike him.

WOW...I don't know Dio, since I haven't seen JoJo, but from what I've heard about him I'm pretty surprised that he lost.
For today's vote, Kaiji it is. The Emperor of Brittania is pretty GAR himself but he had just one big moment, which is enough to get him through round 1, but not any more.

Yes I'm surprised Sensei got that many votes.
Nice to see Kaiji go through but I too would've prefered to see Akagi here. Tomorrow is easy: L may be smart, but he is more moe than Gar imo, Bruce is a non-character, so Shark it is. |
