What Tatsumi says in the manga makes it clearer: "As far as I'm aware, including you (Natsuno) and Yoshie (the other Kirishiki servant), there are only 4/5 jinrou in the whole of Japan".

The other 1/2 jinrou probably aren't with the Kirishiki group, so yes, there is no point speculating about it.

good job and smart move by the doctor, he stays low all the time, pretended to be obedient, silently gather aliance, lured out the evidence then only announce the existence of Shikis in front of a big crowd

with this turn of event, we can expect a huge battle, with Natsuno joining the human side may able to pull some of his Shiki friends over

however Sunako is not someone that can be taken lightly, she had survived for over hundred years, gained enormous knowledge, and she has some effeicient subordinates

Hm, I got the impression that Toshio was saved not by being bitten by another shiki, but by performing a whole-blood transfusion on himself, like what seemed to stave off Setsuko's symptoms earlier in the series. You can see the blood bag and the line running into his arm while he's in bed struggling against Chizuru's compulsion. The presence of two marks in the skin instead of just one, if it's not just an artifact of how the transfusion works, is probably deliberate — it throws suspicion off of what he's doing, and could in fact cause the shiki clan to implode looking for traitors inside their number.

I'll also jump on the Ritsuko bandwagon here — she was calm and collected after she rose, and it looks like she's going to stick with her convictions and allow herself to die permanently rather than kill to save herself. I was half-expecting her to drive a stake through her own heart! (I don't think she knows that works at this point, but still.)

The blood transfusion was to stave off the anemia. The needle was also in the left arm while the bite marks were on the right arm.

Also in a transfusion, you don't stick the needle into the forearm where the bite marks were, you stick it into the area where a vein is easy to reach in the part where the forearm and lower arm are connected.

Best episode so far, I think. Awesome soundtrack too as always, especially at the end. Only ... it seemed as the episode was cut off too fast or something. You know, right at the end when the music was still building up, it suddenly cut off to the text and ED.

Maybe they are looking for a safe haven because they used to be hunted in the past when people found out what they truly were, so that is why there numbers were distinguished. I don't believe they would have other organizations after them, or they would have arrived in the story by now.
