- less action here on Animesuki than shows like Nobunaga The Fool, Buddy Complex (Oh lol) and Chuuni 2, who're largely being ignored elsewhere.

Well Mizushima maybe once again beat Chuu2 in sales lol
But yeah,good show deserve good sales

It's a very well-rounded show overall. It may not particularly beat other series in terms of action, cutesy appeal or even budget, but it hits all the right spots well.

The great voicecast also helps I suppose. I'm not familiar with all the names, but they play their roles really well I think, even though the cast choice for Medusa was a little surprising at first. (I was expecting a voice with a bit more gravitas, but I'm happy with the direction the anime took.)

Not to mention, it's got one of the more catchy ED song and sequence this season.

I don't know who the craziest girl in this series is. They're all nuts, but in an endearing kind of way. Ironically, the antagonists, the tower witches, seem to be far more sane.

Enjoyed the first half of WCW 06.
Wasn't a fan of the imouto kidnapping part, but the end was good with the onee-san stuff.

I think that's a broadcasting issue. I'm probably wrong but my idea is that some stations have different color standards (brightness) and whatever source you're watching happens to be from one of those stations. I've seen other sources where there is no dark lighting in the same scenes. Maybe the original source was edited to remove the dark lighting or maybe not. However, I do notice that it mostly occurs during action sequences so there's probably a reason for that.

I hope the student council gets the message. Kagari wasn't exactly being subtle, but a lot of things could be solved by simply saying "I'm staying together with him because I want to, and he's staying with me because I want him to, and if any of you get in our way you'll be fired."

I recall reading somewhere that that sort of thing is usually an anti-epileptic-seizure safeguard in scenes with a lot of fast movement and bright flashy lights.

Yep. Same reason why later Pokemon episodes slowed down the frame rate for Pikachu's lightning attack scenes.

lol I never knew they had such a thing. Usually they just tell you to sit at a optimal viewing distance and watch in a well lit room.

I think it's just a T.V. broadcast thing, I noticed something like that in the OP sequence. I don't remember seeing stuff like that in BDs/DVDs.

It is a reaction to the Pikachu seizure event. Not sure if it is a law or just tv station internal regulations.

What a pleasant surprise. Definitely didn't expect these results coming into this season (Witchcraft Works manga seemed to be a hit-or-miss title for the most part. Hit for me, anyways).

Also, slightly off-topic but I love Mikakunin. The fact that it's in second for the season puts a smile on my face.

Penguins are more of Honoka's thing.

Mikakunin is best for me. I have Witchy very close at second. Mikakunin excels in cute romance while Witchy in romance comedy.
