I don't think the "reaction" occurs until the ashikabi actually touches the sekirei, or rather, they come in close contact with the ashikabi's saliva.

Minato is rather a special case though, as his sekirei always seem to be good and ready, IF you know what I mean.

My two sense, I dont think if Kagari stays male he'll be that way around Minato. Remember the feminzation started cuz of Minato, Kagari only has control over it now cuz of being winged. It would have happened to him no matter who his Ashikiba was. I think if he stays male then he'd just be like he was before all this started. Only time they need to kiss was during the winging process.

Im still confused, Norito is Mutsu's Ashikabi right?. Well I should say I originally thought it was Mikogami but thats not correct right?

mutsu, sekirei number 5, is a sekirei of mikogami of the south.
natsuo, the ashikabi of the disciplinary squad, is the one who's gay.
norito means prayer (i think) and that's what the sekireis recite when using a power up or erasing the sekirei mark

Ah I used Norito instead of Natsuo (I was posting at 5am ).

OK Im leaving it at that then cuz thats what I thought to begin with but then someone posted a chap wear Mutsu and the other girl are talking about Natsuo and Mutsu says "he's that kinda gay" and the girl says "arent you Natsuo's sekirei as well" but again maybe Im just confusing characters.

Youd think with so little guys in this series I could keep them all straight

Read some of this manga's earlier and mid chapters again, and it's amazing that there's pretty much no filler at all. The manga, from the first chapter, has been advancing the plot continuously for 69 chapters straight without pause. Most manga will probably be more than half-filler, with some plot development laid out in arcs, but Sekirei's been arc after arc non-stop.

It's almost like the mangaka doesn't have to think about what comes next. She's probably planned out the whole series well in advance of actually starting it, or it was one of her pet projects in the past before she got picked up by the magazine.

After watching epi 5 Im thinking Minato will somehow put a stop to this "there can be only one" thinking that the Director has come up with. Minato obviously doesnt want anyone else being hurt, of course who knows how he's gonna go about doing this. Im hoping itll just come down to Minato's Sekirei defeating all the others and them not having to fight eachother. (mostly cuz I dont want them too ) Though it will suck if Minato has to fight Yukari (which we all know is gonna happen). Considering we dont really know what happens to Sekirei when theyre defeated maybe we will once the true fighting starts.

i agree, the author doesnt waste time with fillers and random stuff to drag out the manga. all scenes either advance the plot or give fanservice. so i'm really happy with it. this is why i don't think this manga will run for a very long time (like one piece) and to be honest that's fine by me cause it means i probably will get to finish this manga in my lifetime
