In the middle of volume 7. Saras, Hiramatsu, Mihara, Yuki, Orito and Ayumu are at Nene's to complete her doujinshi. Ayumu was asked to take a rest, and he then rested with his back facing the others. The others thought that he was asleep, but Ayumu was simply relaxing without sleeping. (Sorry, my mistake before)

How do Christ, Nene and queen of Valeria think of Ayumu? I think the prank the queen did to Ayumu (well, the dark masou shoujo actually did the job by the queen's bargain) in vol. 9 is simply too cruel.

To be honest, those who keep asking for translations should understand that it is not easy to translate any language into another. Do not pester for them because you're getting it free-of-charge, and you are not the ones who are putting the effort in.

Now with that out of the way... I guess I should start reading this series, but I'm really lazy. I can read Chinese but my Japanese is not proficient enough to understand even 10% of the text.

I was wondering, is Chinese an easier language to learn than Japanese?

hmmm hard to say...in chinese case there are soo many words to remember but the sounds remain the same...(meaning changes when some words are joined together tho)

Japanese: well the basic kanas:katakana and hiragana you have to get use to how it sounds so if your a good otaku youll get use to it fast but the problem is kanji...the kanji is like a power up ver of chinese. since most of the words sound different.

Unless you are a native speaker, you'd rather read Japanese, if you are strictly concerned about anime and LNs. Japanese is, IMO, more easier because it has less possible sounds that you can make, whereas Chinese has a tons. Plus, imagine a text full of kanjis without any furigana, and that would look like the average Chinese novel.

But Grammar-wise, Chinese is easy. No tenses (aside maybe a few particles), and the order is Subject-verb-DO.

Part 2/3 and 3/3 to Ayumu's happy childhood moment with Orito, with a near-Hadena degree of translation (OK, not THAT bad, but did it on a freakin' mobile device) :

Not necessarily so. I've picked up a fair bit of Japanese just reading up on the language whenever I could (I even read the Japanese Wikipedia pages from time to time), and within the last three years I'd say for someone who has done self-studying (no formal lessons or whatsoever), it's easier to pick up than Chinese.

Chinese is my mother tongue so I'm actually bilingual. However learning Chinese means you have to learn both traditional and simplified Chinese because where Chinese translations are concerned, some people use the traditional words as opposed to the much-easier-to-recognise simplified ones,

In my case though, I can't understand traditional Chinese.

where did Orito get the idea that Ayumu fell for him in elementary school!? What is with his reasoning/deduction skills? I agree with Tomonori, he freaks(creeps?) me out. I sympathize for Ayumu at the end.

Still, how does he go from making a social meeting/party to meet cute girls in vol 5 to saying he fell For Ayumu in vol 7? that's a big WTF thing for me. I honestly don't get this guy.
