let's just say you can expect Father to have thought it through further than that They were scouting for sacrifices for a long time after all and also had potential sacrifices in sight. Remember how the Homunculi love to refer to alchemists as 'precious confirmed/potential sacrifices' . And they had taken Dr. Marcoh in with that purpose in mind. Can't really be answered/discussed properly until next week, I don't want to give anything away. Just rewatched the ep ... and I still cringe at the Riza-slit part -___- All that blood, brutal T_T |

And is the reason why the five sacrifices aren't ready really a spoiler at this point? We've got enough pieces of the puzzle to answer that one without getting into specifics. And logic should inform you the rest of the way. Spoiler for those who don't want it spelled out for them:

Oh, and I caught the English dub on CN the other night. It was horrible, so very horrible. Ed calls Izumi "teacher." Someone got paid to make that decision?

They're mini-Bradleys, really, capable of rather easily being able to subdue Scar, who even without his alchemy is a master hand-to-hand combat specialist, one of the top Ishvalan Warrior Priests, the average of which is capable of taking out ten soldiers on his own. Mustang, Riza, and Scar would probably have their hands full each just facing one of the candidates, nevermind a large group that outnumbers them several times over. |

And since she taught them martial arts too, I always felt it'd be less odd to use Master. But whatever. |

I want to know if the subtitles reflect this poor translation, cause if it does, I sure as hell won't be buying it (and I was thinking about it too). Man, ANN is a really, really, really horrible website. Instead of addressing the translation, dubs, and such the reviewer just bitch and bitches.

Lat to the party here. Good episode as always, Buccaneer death was really nicely done here also loved the eyecatch. Also, loved how Father walked to Ed and Izumi while Hohenheim was dangling there

I enjoyed this episode. It felt like to me that Greedling's awesomeness was cut short a bit, and Ran Fan had the bare minimum showing. Minor complaints, though... I think FMA has really stepped up to its predecessor and made the shounen genre watchable for me again.

Although I admit the threat of spoilers is obviously worse for anime only viewers.
