So its started. The Assault on Parasyte HQ.
The Parasytes seems never bothered to even make a hard skeleton. Well, in fairness most people wouldn't notice it, but this is also how Shimada Hideo's disguise was blown because of a stray baseball. Also, looks like Uragami thinks Shinichi's too interesting, even if he really felt that Shinichi's part parasite, he wouldn't rat him out. But, why didn't xray Shinichi too to make sure? Now, how effective do you think will AA 12 Slugs fare against Goto? Flamethrower sounds dangerous in a Office Building full of innocents... but it do its job well in The Thing. But anyway, people will die. No doubt about that. Last edited by cupumanager; 2015-02-19 at 09:48. |

However, the only issue I have is how they created that technology in the early 1990's to be used in reality. The new "officer" in charge seems arrogant, so he's due to fail big time. Waiting for the carnage to ensue, and Shinichi to clean up the mess.

Damn, Parasyte is gonna end soon now that the assault on Hirokawa’s group has begun! On the other hand, I wonder what will happen to Uragami since he'll be part of the operation despite being a serial killer?
Meanwhile, sad that Shinichi is gonna graduate soon. He should have run that 100-meter dash in 10 seconds flat! |

But you're right. More often than not, I should never overestimate his character.

The only logic I can figure out why it hasn't been able used on Shinichi is because it belongs to the new officer and he was never given the assumption that Shinichi was a parasyte. All the tests on Shinichi was done before his arrival. The more logical plothole is why he didn't use the machine on everyone involved in the operation beforehand. Unless, he was concerned about premature exposure to the machine leading to it's destruction before this event.

Moreover the fact that Shinichi is human was never put into question by Hirama during the latest episodes, what he actually wanted to know was if he possessed some kind of anomaly that made him attract parasytes or if he was, like Uragami, capable to sense them. That's what he actually wanted to know when he put them in front of each other. Now the reason they are using the more costly X-ray for this operation rather than hair-plucking, is that the former can be done without the parasyte noticing and without getting too close. It's a lot safer.
