Well that escalated quickly.

Cliffhanger of Massive Escalation aside, I really liked the deranged action closeups and freezeframes this time, and the Mako/Losers interplay was quite good.

Also, who's the VA for the Grand Couturier?

Spoiler for Episode 11:

This episode sure does entertain me a lot with its gravity-defying clichés played like a fun game, a good dose of action and great visuals. The Grand Couturier whom I guess it's Tamura voicing her seems like the girl that Ryuuko is in charge of killing because of her wielding the other half of a giant pair of scissors. She's very cute appearance-wise but not so much in personality. Wonder who will win the scissors' fight? Next episode sure will bring a major answer.

Isn't the other half of the killing scissors supposed to be blue though? Not factoring in the lighting, what we saw was purple.

Wonder if she really is the one that killed Ryuko's father, or if she's just saying it to get a rise out of Ryuko since it seems she likes to push people's buttons and tease them.

Kind of sucks Bamboo guy got pushed out of the way, but it just sets him up more to join Ryoko's side as an ally.

The second this happened, my jaw just dropped to the floor. I've seen lots of speculation from the previous week that the new girl is the killer, and I even suspected it to be true, but that didn't make the reveal any less intense. Trigger really does knows how to excite the viewers.

Speculation:

Is that the other half of Ryuko's scissor blade? Yes
Is Nui the one Ryuko remembers seeing running off with the blade? Probably
Is she the one who stabbed Ryuko's father? NO

Nui is riling Ryuko up so she can fight with her at 100%. She's probably trying to cause the crisis that the Nude Beach operatives are trying to stop.

Nice job to the writers for injecting a little logical progression into such an illogical series. Who else better to fight against people wearing high-end custom superpowered clothes, than a couturier?

If the end of the Nonon fight didn't feel so deus ex machina like (Tunning using the Kamui? WTF?!), I would have ranked this episode pretty highly.

My guess is Rui isn't the real killer. My bets are on Ragyou and Rui is simlply taking the blame for her and to get Ryuko fighting at full power.

Wow, that ending. I'm pretty sure Nui isn't the killer but what is important is that Ryuko firmly believes it at the moment. She is boiling with rage and will destroy anything in her path. The next episode will be intense.

I was a bit disappointed that Sanageyama was fodderized by Nui, but I guess they needed to establish how dangerous she is. She can rip apart a goku uniform with her bare hands. Given how skilled at fighting Satsuki and the grand couturier of the family are, I have to wonder how insanely strong Ragyo is. Ragyo's hair seem to be similar to Ryuko's, is that the sign she's fused with a kamui or mere fabulousness? Anyway, she's the person that's the closest to being final boss material right now.

I doubt it. Ryuko's mother was most likely Tsumugu's sister and the person that got killed by senkentsu during the experiments.

Well mom seems to have had her share of whipping. Maybe she is capable of wearing dresses made 100% from lifefiber. Most importantly mom isn't big player who was mentoned by NUUUUuudist beach.

Let's hope next episode battle isn't mostly stills and boob-close-ups.

Damn…this episode was good. The last half did a really good job building up tension.

On another note, is that Yukari Tamura I hear? Being all destructive and cutesy? It's like Nanoha reincarnated into a new anime.
