New, Good Anime.

I'm looking for an anime to watch. Something new (Only in its first season as of now) and interesting.

Also, I'm trying to get into reading Manga. Whats a short series to start with?

Thanks!

Sorry :P

I really liked SAO, and I'm currently enjoying Lucky Star and Soul Eater. I like a good comedy-action.

I thought Sidonia no kishi was good if you haven't seen it. It's finished the first season and is eventually returning for a season 2.

First thing that came to mind was Hitsugi no Chaika.

A space sci fi opera type mecha series which shows humanity under constant threat from a species called gauna. There is mystery and intrigue and a chance to see how different the society is to our own.

The two shows I'm following this season are Zankyou no Terror and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. However there's little comedy in the first and little action in the second.

For action you could try Tokyo ESP which is currently airing, and Gekkan Shoujo Nozoki-kun is a great comedy currently airing.

For manga I really like Koi Dano Ai Dano
