Looks pretty cool. I remember watching bits and pieces of how the gameplay works in NHK World's imagine-nation and I'm rather hyped to see the game getting its own anime adaptation on television, for real (even though there's a small animated promo occuring a few years ago I think).
For a series animated by A-1 Pictures, the animation was top-tier and I'm surprised Gen Urobuchi will write the scripts. The only doubt I have is that video game adaptations are rather poorly done, I hope this isn't the same case here but still.

I am must say that I am a little mad.
Viking and Square Enix, instead of finding a way to port the game on to PS3 or PS4, they spending the budget on an anime? EXCUSE ME!? Though, why are people are acting as if they are now safe from Urobuchi because Kaihou is doing the scenario? I mean, those two are good buddies. And Kaihou himself is a member of two writer community that is very good at doing horrible things to their readers, albeit in their own style. |

Another Aniplex uses Gen Urobuchi's name to sell something but he's not actually really involved with the script and this time it's a Square Enix video game title? But then how can Urobuchi be the original scenario creator? Come on industry what's the deal here? This is exactly the sort of thing to get a ho hum here we go again reaction out of me that I wish we'd get away from already lol. They've obviously decided they need his branding for the forseeable future.
That tends to be the standard yes. This strikes me as even more blatant than Aldnoah.Zero though which at the very least was an original creation so they could sort of pull certain things with certain staff, but what exactly does Gen Urobuchi have to do with Square Enix lol? Like just give this Kaihou the credit and let the director run the show. Why must this guys name always be at the top of like half the marquees Aniplex runs now. It's just so ridiculous. |

...I suggest doing some research on the original game first before saying that.
The developer of the game is Viking with Square doing the publishing, and they got Urobochu into the design team. Urobuchi drafted the entire world setting and mechanic and many basic element of the game plot. If you read the data book of the game, there is a lot and a lot of text on that. They are not selling a game with his name, he is a big part of this. |

Anyway this game seems so low profile outside of Japan I can't even find a wikipedia page to do any research on it so that's about the most I can say for it aside from the fact that there seems to be a Final Fantasy costume pack in the actual game. edit: Found a gameplay video and wow this game literally looks exactly like Gundam Vs. except swap out Mobile Suits, Gundam music and settings for bishoujo characters, gunslinger cowboy dudes and pop music set in what looks like mainly Akihabara. |

I wonder, if people understand that Urobuchi isn't involved in this anime.
