This is sad news. I became a David Bowie fan in 2010, and discovered more and more of his music and came to love so much of his music. I became a big fan of him and he is in my top 3 for favorite music artists. I came to find out that he really was very talented and he was so great when he was at his peak and I came to know firsthand that he is indeed a music legend. May he rest in peace.

I recall David Bowie more for his brief acting career than his music. In fact, I came both to know him and to remember him forever due to one single film from the 1980's that became one amongst many staples of my childhood.
To me he'll always be the one and true Goblin King, JARETH. |

Was never a big fan, but when I heard the news this morning I was stunned, partly because it seemed so sudden even though it wasn't really.
There'll never be another. This clip only survived because the guy who operated the fish-eye lens had a copy. What a treasure. |
