Plot Summary:

The anime is set in a continent ruled by sword and magic called Kunaaan, where a power balance between the Holy Kingdom of Amoria, the Kingdom of Ishilfen, and the Vanrodis Kingdom keeps a peace so unstable that any tragedy that befalls any one kingdom will mean war for the entire continent. Another power, the evil dragon Daganzord, also resides on the continent, and no one is powerful enough to stop him from spreading destruction and charred land in his wake. Two individuals, Bairo and Kismitete, undertook a ritual alongside a party of wizards to seal Daganzord, but were foiled. This event was known thereafter as the Balbagoa Tragedy. Bairo and Kismitete's son Hiiro is saved by Giiru, and Hiiro swears to avenge his parents' deaths and trains himself with the sword. When Hiiro turns 16, he sets out on a journey to slay the dragon, and Giruu accompanies him, having no choice. Along the way, they meet many types of people, and gain companions on their journey.

Well that was alright. Not the most amazing thing ever, but pretty decent.

The MC does go between looking like a badass to an idiot pretty often. Getting serious at times, but also being pretty childish in having those kid thieves chasing him around.

And then hey the last boss shows up right at the end of the first episode to cause havoc

.

It looks like Hiiro parents pulled of Dragon heart save. Good for them. Let's see if final boss can be reeducated into obedient pet. I also hope shota is reverse trap, it would be waste if it was really boy.

Well, at the end of the ep I kinda wanted to know what happened next ep, so that is a better sign than "Oh well, maybe it will get better next ep", if nothing else.

Must admit that the series was nowhere on my radar before the season began, but I like sword and sorcery settings, so ...

It was alright. Idiot MC is a nice change of pace, especially when he pretty much just regurgitates whatever his master says. Humour was hit and miss though, but it wasn't terrible.

this first episode at last already was thousand of times better than "generic hundred", first episode i will give it the 3 episodes rules before decide to drop or keep watching, this really looks like gonna be fun.

I actually thought Hundred's first episode was praise worthy. You should see just how terrible the source material they have to work with is! No seriously.

They actually did a fantastic job all things considered.
