Idol Group S.E.M consists of former high school chemistry/science teacher Jiro Yamashita (voiced by Yoshiki Nakajima), former high school English teacher Rui Maita (voiced by Junya Enoki), and former high school math teacher Michio Hazama (voiced by Kent Itō). Just watched the prologue. I had my skepticism, but I enjoyed it.

A very nice start the prologue was good get to see Haruka so there maybe hope to see the other girls

First episode is really good with Dramatic Stars being the first leading unit of 315 Pro.
Also P-san is so ikemen.

Ok so I finally got around to watching both episodes and maybe it's just the cheap shot of having Haruka show up and M@STERPIECE play in the background during the prologue but this show feels quite a lot more like the previous Idolm@ster anime than the Cinderela girls one did. It's smaller, has that underdog feel to the production company and that assistant is basically a genderbent Kotori to my eyes. But what struck me most is the feel and the comedy clicked with me in a way that the melodrama of Cinderela girls didn't.

I'll keep watching this one probably even if the songs don't really do anything for me. But it makes sense: I'm more interested in pretty girls than fabulous guys

So far, so good. I really appreciated how motivated the guys are- I haven't yet been left wondering how or why a character is even trying to be an idol. Sakuraba's line about hard work actually made me clench my fist up and cheer.

Next week we'll meet the rest of the group, so hopefully there won't be any that sour me on the show, as occurred in Cinderella Girls.

A very nice concert they should of Jupiter at the end before the whole group sings Have to say the 2 song they sung was just so good

Joking aside, SideM is equally as better as 765P anime (for now). And I hoping for Cafe Parade to be a lead unit for S2..(Yohane & Ranko's brother)

Yeah, not many comments on this show, not really much to say about it.
It's a perfectly decent addition to the Idolm@ster stable which I watched not expecting to like but kept watching.

It was pretty good. It was a good anime to save til the end every weekend. And I look forward to a second season (Can't imagine this franchise won't get one).

Needed more Pesident Gendo Ikari though.
