Now streamed. Can't say its initial style was to my taste. I'm not a big fan of those series that shove in RL images and stuff to set the mood, or for the general gritty atmosphere, but that's just a matter of taste. One thing's for sure, I can't imagine the thing with Shiori going well. I mean, how do you think that'll play down? Maybe she's hardened to the lifestyle and is just cool with doing anyone, either for fun or for the right "payment", which would shatter the hero's image of her completely. Maybe the master holds her down to let his dog have a bone. Maybe, as the preview may be suggesting, the bastard finds and steals the girl's cell, then tells her that she can either let Hibiki have his way with her or watch as the object of her addiction is destroyed. Whatever the case, any ideal he has about becoming intimate with a girl for the first time will be crushed and replace with something that's either coerced and brutal or completely casual and empty of anything even remotely satisfying beyond what he could get with just one hand. I sincerely hope he refuses the guy in the next episode, declares that he'd rather die a virgin than graduate that way.
EDIT: After seeing ep 2, I have to say the conclusion to that situation was really unpleasant. He struggles with it for a while but ultimately tells her not to as she tries to push herself on him, because she's promised net access if she does. Then she pukes, tries again, pukes again, and as he tells her not to push herself and that he doesn't want to do something that'd hurt her, she continues to try until she apologizes and basically tells him that just touching him makes her unable to stop vomiting. Seriously, that was very unpleasant and I hope it changes over the coming episodes. She started out telling him that all guys, himself included, were nothing but bastards who cared about nothing but their own lust, even after he took a rock to the face trying to protect her. Just what is it about him that makes her so disgusted? I hope he says or does something about that reaction eventually. And that he manages to achieve a point where she at the least doesn't find him disgusting and perhaps even comes to find his touch pleasant instead of nauseating. But first, I hope we get a little more background on her extreme reaction. Is it him personally that makes her sick, and if so why? Is it men in general? Is it just the idea of sex or lust? Does she have a boyfriend? Is she a lesbian? Just what is with that reaction? Her rejection is on the level of a phobia. Last edited by BWTraveller; 2017-10-17 at 14:10. |

Only just occurred to me, but does it feel to anyone else like the girls are the only ones acting like addicts so far? The guys don't seem to bother, if anything using electronics as tools of power to get others in trouble. On the other hand the girls seem willing to do almost anything for the sake of a simple cell phone, up to and including whoring themselves out. If the girls are capable of continued withdrawal, why not the boys?

Well, as always nothing goes right for this guy. I find it somewhat interesting in some ways, but I can't help but wonder whether they'll be able or even interested in pulling off a good end to this. And if they do, how things will work out with Hibiki and Shiori. I've wanted to see a series where a guy's love interest initially hates him, not just standard Tsundere stuff but some real legitimate contempt and disgust and a true unwillingness to view the guy in a good light, and where the guy then has to work to both help said love interest and gain her approval and interest. That is the challenge the hero's facing right now, but seriously I wonder whether he can pull it off or whether the powers that be will let him. So yeah, my big curiosity is how things will end up for the pair. Will they walk out enemies with bad blood? Will he gain her respect and approval as a good man? Will they be friends? Could he possibly actually manage to win her love by the end? Please tell me that at the very least the story ends with her willing and able to touch him without feeling sick and vomiting.

Episode 11
I know this show is not popular because is very mediocre both plot and animations, but i continued to follow it till the end, i was curious, and i admit i'm now surprised, didn't expect this new turn of events. They go completely drama and dark (from episode 10) because they stop following the source material and go for an original anime ending.
I wont spoil anything but the final episode will be surely a bloodbath for revenge after the grand escape, for both Siori and Shin sides. Last edited by Fnights; 2017-12-26 at 17:24. |

Episode 12
Is the showdown, Shian redeem himself, Hibiki and Shin fate is settled (and both die?) while Shiori and the other guys manage to escape from the sewers and survive.
Animations apart that are a joke the plot wasn't so bad (original ending?) and the anime manage to properly close everything without an opening ending. |
