Light novel 'Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai demo Yoyuu de Ikinuku you desu!' (High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World!) is getting a TV anime adaptation. Coming this year, 2019. Studio is No.9.

Plot Summary

Seven high school students that got caught in an airplane accident wake up, in a middle age like fantasy different world where magic and beast-man (juujin) exist.

This is one of those Isekai stories that's incredibly low brow even by the already average standards of Isekai, but it's only passable because the main cast don't hide just how OP they are. Guilty pleasure at most basically.

I'll say that the summary isn't selling me on this. Not a big deal to have more isekai shows popping up. That's just where we are right now with these being all over the place. This one just doesn't sound very interesting.

Anything can end up surprising though.

Based on the LNs of Misora Riku, author of Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry.
I recall Rakudai 's anime version was warmly received, and the LNs still have a big following on the related thread.

I think some people will go watch Choujin since it's the same author.

And yes, the premise is Danganronpa's specialized geniuses + isekai.

Rakudai was warmly received because it has really cool protagonist and it's not a harem, which is unusuall.
I have a question for LN or manga readers. Is this Harem series?

No, only two girls are trying seriously to get into the MC pants. That's about it.

How typical of old-fashioned fantasy LN Authors not to feature romance for male characters not the MC in his group.

In contrast, Kenja no Mago has romantic pairings for other characters not the MC and main girl. MC's male friends in Mago have girlfriends and fiances like normal people in real life, unlike most male friends in Visual Novels and old-fashioned LNs where MC's male friends always don't get any girlfriend among the female cast.

Well, there is plenty of girls trying get into his pants, we can argue how serious they are, but I don't think it really matter.

Anyway this could pretty good isekai, if it didn't wanked MC so much on account of other geniuses.

It never occurred to me Tsukasa was being promoted so much; as the OP politician he is the natural leader/planner/organizer/main negotiator for the group.
Plus some arcs did focus on a genius each.

Update : MC's MILF-lover friend gets a follower who loves money as much as him, and I recall the OP ninja/reporter girl has a friendship with one of the male demihumans. The only ones who didn't have any relationship as far as I read are the doctor, swordswoman and magician.

ALL GIRLS, including said milf go into mixed batch with MC to "reward" him for his hard work.

When i saw the trailer, the part where that big statue in New York, vanished after a swing from that staff, ok....ok.

It's part of the ongoing plot, they're trying to find clues on how to go home.

IIRC the characters are like the Danganronpa ones, each have a highly specialized Superhuman skill.
