Full subbed episode is out now.
This actually turned out to be slightly more entertaining than I had expected although I'm not a fan of that Kyouya guy yet. The show actually turned out to have a more serious atmosphere than I had expected. Plus, that office environment and overall working style has a degree of realism to it. Some of the cast are protrayed as older characters such as Eiko. The theme of getting a second chance for part of its storyline isn't something too special but it does give Kyouya an insight about how he approaches his situation. Not a bad start actually.

Indeed. People getting second chances is something that has become a reoccurring trope, but this series takes a more serious approach when it highlights that experience can only get you so far when you are lacking good fundamentals, and the protagonist coming to that realization early on is an important step.
Also, getting smacked in the face with people that possess raw talent in specific areas is a good wake up call. You have been given a second chance, but it means nothing if you don't have a radical change of mindset. Although many times we like to think that changing one big single event would have had a radical impact into our future (and often times that is indeed the case), more often it is the accumulation of small choices that reflect our mindset and way of thinking that have a larger impact. It would change little if Kyouya went through art school life without changing himself. It would seem that that will be a reoccurring theme which makes me very happy.

I enjoyed this a lot. Reminded me a bit of Relife, the concept is different yet similar.
I could tell from the trailer this would have a serious approach. This is the kind of anime that might teach us a thing or two about the industry (in this case, the VN one). Of course, they still managed to fit in plenty of fanservice, the ending is pretty juicy. I thought Shinoaki had some nice boobs but the others are no slouches.

This...was a lot different than what I was expecting. I hate second chances at life since they're usually so rife with undeserving main characters abusing their future knowledge to make it big, but there is a humility in Kyoya that wins my heart.

The writer (both of LN and anime) is a professional VN scriptwriter (he worked in different roles on such famous VNs as Grisaia series, Ao Kanata no Four Rhythm and Narcissu ).
Also, as Bushiroad recently aquired Front Wing, no wonder they put two of their vocalists in the main cast and their groups to sing OP and ED. As for the episode itself, I am sure a lot of people will find it boring, but I really liked it. I like this series about college students, especially with arts focus. And the excecution is good so far, though, I would have preferred less typical harem tropes. Spoiler for Spoilers:

Watching the first episode, and gotta ask is the part where the MC gets a temp job at the company doing the anniversary game before it gets frozen something that happened in the LN?
Because I don’t recall it happening in the manga. And I wanna know if it’s something that happened in the source material, which got cut from the manga for some reason or the other. Or it’s anime original content

Although I could do without the fanservice, I like the more serious approach this show has to offer as well as the show focusing on Kyoya realizing that his experience from his past life doesn't guarantee that he will succeed because he was lacking on a fundamental level.

That was very good, despite the too-obvious parallels with Re-LIFE, right down to having Sawashiro Miyuki as a teacher. But my track record with LN adaptations is spotty at best, so I categorically refuse to get my hopes up after one episode, even if it was double-length.
