Why do people like Wind Ending so much even today??

I don't get it. I hated it when I first saw it and heard it and I still don't like it all that much.

But the amount of fans for that songs is unbelievable. Personally I love the current ending and that's my favorite one. Very catchy tune with good lyrics.

I am still astounded. Please, fans of Wind, tell me why it's so amazing??

The Wind Ending gets stuck in your head. Also it's a a 5 beat measure (I think) so it's quite rare and interesting to listen to. Anyway, I think it's a good song.

I still don't know what the contents are and why we're breaking into them :P

It's a nice song, if you don't like engrish -- not so much, but it's still one of my favs

Well, technically its' all a matter of personal perception or taste in music.
(Forget the technically, it IS a matter of personal taste)

I liked it.

That song is so bomb. I love it, the imagery fits well with the lyrics, the bright colors and retro style also fits the song great, theres a lot of meaning if you look past the engrish. Personally though, I like his engrish and I like the carefree yet bound by sadness tune it brings.

I like it too, even tough the lyrics are somewhat weak (most probably due to translation). It has a catchy tune along and, for me at least, it's quite a good portrait of what one thinks about Naruto. Conversely I must admit that I belive I wouldn't like it if it was not bound to Naruto somehow (ie, if the track was standalone).

The music itself is good, but when the guy starts singing it's terrible. I hate engrish.

I liked the tune, i liked the lyrics, i liked how it looked.

Infact were ive put liked, change to loved

Cultivate your hunger before you idealise, motivate your anger and make them all realise
I think thats how it went, but yeah the lyrics are awesome, my fav song yet, i used to put it on loop and fall asleep to it, back in the old days.

I can't agree more, I did not understand that he actually tryed to sing on english the first time I saw it. I thought it was some kinda wierd language, but the 2nd time I saw it, I did read the text aswell and found out that most of the words somehow fit into the "translation" :P

I enjoyed listening to the song in the past, and every now and then I do listen to it again...

but there are reasons a person likes a given song despite there being something on the surface that's irritating...

1) The music played is good to listen too, Classical music is completely based off this (for obvious reason I might add)

2) You can identify with the lyrics, something about the words used gives you.

3) You enjoy the imagery you associate the song too, example: a music video (my brother became a fan of U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday only because of the music video he saw of Rurouni Kenshin Ova)

4) You enjoy the quality of the voice of a given singer.

or lastly 5) You enjoy the song in a different state of mind (inebriated, etc.).

Well it is best ending so far but I don't love it. That singer's pretty terrible :P Actually there's little music in Naruto I really like, except Haruka Kanata. Haruka Kanata should have a comeback!

That's because compared to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th endings it was amazing.
