Crunchyroll's coverage of the announcement

I came across this manga online, and what caught my attention was the fact that the characters were building and flying model rockets - and the manga took what they were doing seriously! Once again, I'm amazed by what the Japanese can put in their entertainment that no one in Hollywood would ever touch.

First episode was promising... I really liked Umika's gradient hair. Seems like its been a while since the last Manga Time Kirara adaptation.

That was actually kinda delightful. Presumably, Yu isn't actually an alien, but is instead a girl who has decided to have an over-the-top persona in order to make friends... but we'll see! It has a bit of shy girl / genki girl vibe going for it, too. Sorta reminds me of Amanchu! just a bit.

I liked the opening and closing, too. The closing was fairly pretty, even.
