Dude, those company really get the nerves out of me!
Anime's are always licensed when they are in the middle of the story.
I doubt it that they would make much profit from people who's gonna their dvd's.
I mean, if you bought it and watched it, then what.
I can understand if there a few boxsets you would buy cus that anime seems pretty good to you.
But hey, all the BT downloaders don't just download one anime. It's like 5 till 6 or 10 and they all seem good to you, but it's not like you wanna own it or something. And it's pretty poor for the people who can't afford the dvd's since they are like 30 till 40 bucks for one dvd with 3 till 4 episodes.
This really sucks.

Seen this thread too many times. It is always an irritating rant that almost always ends in flames. If you want to talk about it I would suggest that you learn to search. I'm pretty sure that a few relevant threads are even still open. I'm sure that with your help I'd be closing them soon.
