Need some anime suggestions, preferable EXTREMELY violent

Hi everyone, new member here.

I'm running out of good animes to watch, so please give me some suggestions. Like the topic says I like violent animes, but I haven't found any anime that is really violent. I watched Elfien Lied, but that's not really that violent. I want violence like the good old Fist of the North Star TV series violence. Now that's a great anime with tons of violence and crazy kungfu moves. Slicng body parts doesn't really compare to kung fu that destroys your organs, make you explode, make your muscles twist until you die while giving you pleasure until the very last second. Anime like Tenjou Tenge got good fighting, but no real violence, is there any anime out there that resembles Fist of the North Star?

But other great animes suggestions are welcome to. I prefer violent anime, but I can enjoy other kinds of anime.

Animes I like:
Last Exile
Nadesico
Berserk
Cowboy Bebop
Naruto
FMA
Evangelion
Full Metal Panic and FMP Fumoffu
Kenshin
Scrapped Princess
Wolf's Rain
X TV
Escaflowne
Hunter x Hunter
Samurai Champloo
Saint Seiya (Childhood Classics)
Tekkaman Blade (Childhood Classics)
Fist of the North Star of course

Anime I'm ambivalent about:
Tenjou Tenge
Inuyasha
Ranma
Fruits Basket
Onegai Teacher
Shingetsutan Tsukihime
Chrno Crusade
D.N Angel
Ai Yori Aoshi

Anime I hate:
Serial Experiment LAME (Stupidest show ever)
Azumanga Daio (Slow, not that funny, a bit better at the end)
Love Hina (Tasteless)
Onegai Twins (Sequel gone wrong)
Maburaho (Even More tastless)
Seikai no Senki (Slow)
E's Otherwise (Slow, fillers, bad ending)
Ragnarok (Just don't like it)
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (I might as well watch Days of Our Lives)

Thanks for the suggestions

Where can I get some saint seiya sigs/avatar?

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll definitely check out Hellsing and Ninja Scroll, as for hating Love Hina, I just don't like harem animes in general. Harem animes are so cookie cutter, you have your pink, blue, blond, and black haired girls, and then you have your perfect caring girl, violent girl, wild girl, shy girl, younger girl, and older girl and sometimes an evil girl. Just mix and match those traits and that's pretty much all of harem anime.

i know you put kenshin on the list, but not witch ones...

so if you havent alredy seen it, you should check out "Rurouni Kenshin - Reminiscence", witch is the first of the kenshin OVA's. it's very voilent, and very dark, and its also probably my all time favorite anime

YAY More Saint Seiya Avatars! That's a nice picture of the Sagittarius cloth.

As for you question.... Well, if you liked Berserk and Elfen Lied then you will love Ninja Scroll... It's got lots of blood and gore.

Another Fist of the North Star fan After going through your list your taste in anime is very similar to mine. Although none of the below series are any way near as violent as Fist of the North I recommend you to watch the belo:

Gungrave
3x3 Eyes
Vampier Hunter D Bloodlust

Violent series... hmm. Why do you say Tenjou Tenge has no 'real' violence? That's really... look at the fihgts such as the Shin vs. Bunshichi fight.

But violent series. Try Ninja Scrol and, Samurai X OVA 1,

I guess I'm just very desensitized (is it even a word? looks weird) to violence. As for the Shin vs. Bunshichi fight, they didn't exactly show the really violent part, i mean they only showed the sword go through the leg like twice, there was certainly a fair amount of blood, but the violence level is rather low, in my opinion anyways. I do realize that my taste is rather extreme.

Oh yeah, thanks Yagami, i'll check out your recommendations, been hearing good things about Gungrave. Thank you too UserName.

Well you're in luck, you want a gorey anime?

I got two words for you. ELFEN LIED
On the inside you basically got the same old romance/harem/comedy.

On the outside you got some limb tearing action.

Check the thread in in the DVD & Licensed forums. Beware of the spoilers though.

I've heard GANTZ is violent as well, but I can't tell you that first hand.

Looking back at Love Hina... I realized I don't like it that much. Sure, it was good AT THE MOMENT, but beyond that... I don't think I'd ever attempt to rewatch it. I hate Naru (I'm not too fond of the violent girls), and it hurt me to watch Keitaro get mutiliated every show (well... that's an exaggeration on both parts). Let's just say I've seen many more harem anime that I liked better where I hated the lead female and hated the ending.

Well if you want violence if you stopped midway through Hunter X Hunter you should continue on. The NGL Arc as 'Extreme Violence'.

Elfin Lied and Gantz - both very violent and graphic. Tenjou Tenge is violent - the anime is more toned down than the Manga.

These are prety much essential film viewing for any anime fan who likes a bit of blood and gore. I cant say I've actually picked up any anime fims recently - they have kind of dropped off my scope.

Ghost in the Shell and Spriggan (Spriggarn? sp?) are also good and in the same vein as the above.

Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend (about 4 ongoing fims) probably needs to be watched, although its hentai side can be anoying. The never completed 12 OVA Gyver is pretty violent and is simlar to Urotsukidoji, but without the hentai.

RahXephon (licensed)
Bakuretsu Tenshi (licensed)
Soukyuu no fafner (not licensed) - all three similar vein to Evangelion

RahXephon - Really good anime series, violent also. Similar a bit to Evangelion, but I thought it was much better. (better ending especially)

Juuni Kokki - Licensed also, but this series has one of the best plotlines and great animation. Your list of anime likes is similar to mine and I'm sure you'd enjoy this one =D

Hajime no Ippo- I haven't watched this, but I've heard great things about it.

Ikkitousen - Lots of hand-to-hand fighting
Noir - Lots of non-graphic violence..
Madlax - Like Noir in a lot of ways; the violence is a bit more graphic and realistic.

What about The Guyver? It was a passably decent show and if you like violent fights it should be right up your alley. Bone breaking mutilating combats in every episode. It's not as extreme as Fist of the North Star of course. Nothing is. Still, it has some very violent combats which are more graphic than Fist of the North Star.
