Any Idea what time does Naruto Series take in?

Yes it is. In our time it takes place before and during World War 2. (before for the earlier episodes when Ed and Al were much four years younger)

We cant judge what time period Naruto exists in by comparing their current technology to ours. True, they have technology that resembles what we have today, like televisions and VCRs, but at the same time, they apparently dont have cars, or guns, or computers.

I dont think Kishimoto has revealed what year Naruto takes place in, so we wont know until that info is revealed.

I dont think its meant to be at any particular time. It's set in an alternate universe, basically so Kishimoto can mix up contemporary and old stuff as he likes. It's roughly equivalent to the present day, I guess. Just with magical ninjas and talking animals

Yeah defintely an Alternate Universe. if you look at the map it doesn't even take place in Japan. Just a mock Feudal Japanese setting with Daimyos, Radios, TVs, headphones, digital screens, and movie theaters. You're typical fantasy land. Gives the creator more freedom.

It's a bankbook(passbook), and the number is D 1237, it can mean many things , it can be the branch number of the bank, or the serial number of the bankbook(passbook)

also the Naruto world DO HAVE GUNS.

They do use some sort of giant repeating needle-throwing machine or something in the movie, like a medieval porcupine except it's much larger and has a much longer range.
