So they finally show Archer with a bow, about time.

Been waiting till they showed the more darker side to Ilya, her character was a bit plain when they just! showed her acting all nice after trying to kill shirou, she intelligent with a childish side, though how much of her is child-ish is hard to tell when she is seemingly putting on a act.

I think it is still too early to tell. I think in the next few eps with what will happen to Archer wil tell us where this is headed.

Agreed we will just have to wait and see, they dropped alot of hints in the anime that it's unlikely going to be purely Fate.

hm...... I can just imagine the loli talk from last ep discussion carrying over to this ep....

or maybe im just a little dissapointed I missed the fun discussion

I'm wondering how they'll dodge the "mana regenerating" issue.
All of this depends on what happens in the next ep.
The preview wasn't exactly clear, although at this point it seems they're making things happen slightly differently from the game, but to which extent, I can't tell.

Also, they changed the temptative ep 14 episode, which was supposed to be Unlimited Blade Works according to the previews. It's now 理想の果て

Shirou won't have to do the deed... unless they can skip it and imply it at some point, but then all the fans will be wondering why Saber's all perky.

hahaha couldnt help but laugh at that

anyways, they most likely will have some character elements from the other scenarios and I wouldnt count out UBW just yet since it makes for some awsome character development for Shirou, and theres certainly enough hints to it -.-

The art is a little better for this episode, and it features some Archer, who as of now is no longer MIA. I thought his bow would be cooler looking (futuristic, in fact). Oh yeah, was Shirou part of the archery club once or something?

I agree, the episode finally drives the point that she is indeed Arthur, or at least the inspiration to the Arthurian legends.
