Turn A in Games?
While searching for information concerning the next generation Gundam games, I came across several interesting information. The Turn A Gundam makes appearances in both SD Gundam: Scad Hammers and Gundam Musou. To me, having the Turn A make appearances in 2 different next gen action games is unprecedented. Scad Hammers, I can sort of understand, as the Turn A did wield a Gundam Hammer, so that is a logical bonus. However, its appearance in Gundam Musou is very surprising (considering the number of other, more popular suits they could have chosen i.e. Freedom, Double X, Strike-Freedom, etc...). It is quite surprising to see the Turn A finally start to make appearances in games. As far as I know, asides from SRW @G and various G-Gen Games, it has never appeared in any of the Gundam games. Does this mean that people are finally getting over the moustache (just as many of us have), and Turn A is starting to become more popular in Japan?

If you are talking about the one that was released during the PS3 launch, then no, I don't believe the Turn A is included in Crossfire. However, Gundam Musou (which hasn't been released yet) is for the PS3, while Scad Hammers is for the Wii. I have no idea if either of the two will be coming to the US, so if anyone has any information on that it would be appreciated.

It might be actually due to Gundam Seed's popularity overshadowed Turn A Gundam.
It is great to see Turn A appearing in numerous games. I'd hope i can see more Turn A in SRW series but its unique storyline seems to prevent it to appear more often ;s |

I find it surprising that Gundam Musou did not include any SEED MS yet.
Then again... SEED mobile suits pretty much over-kills anything & everything... - Tak (although this game IS designed to over-kill moving... thingies)

I never liked Turn A's appearance until now that I started watching it, its starting to grow on me now and made me put @G onto my PSP so I can pick the Turn A path.
Gonna get Scud Hammer for sure since I have a Wii but no idea about the PS3. |

I think its in the trailer. At one part when the Turn A is fighting with its beam saber, it just leaps up and starts flying forward, with the mobile suits it passes over exploding. Let me see if I can find the exact frame...
EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3G2Oz12ChiQ Found it. It is used at 5:18 in this trailer Last edited by <Turn X>; 2007-02-10 at 03:14. |
