Episode 123 Discussion Thread

Shinji! This dude seriously reeks awesomeness, and yet he is hilarious when he wants to. The battle with Hiyori vs. Hichigo is a let down because the animators have been less than stellar. In fact, the episode is pretty average in the animation department. Some of the frames are actually outrageously bad. Mercifully, the content of the episode is another very good one, so the folks who have high tolerance for average animation, or just aren't blessed with gifted perception ( I kid, I kid. I know all of you are l33t. ) should enjoy this episode very much.

Other observation: - Hiyroi should fight with her sandal instead of a sword. She is deadly with her sandals, plus, it adds humiliation along with the hit-count on the opponent.

- Has anyone noticed Yuzu is another cutie-pie?

- Shinji can instill fear in his opponent with a glare alone. Man, he is cool in this episode.

- Risa is hot! grrrrr.

I am giving this episode an 8 for the content alone.

P.S. We now know the name of the Megane-ko. She is Risa! And it looks like she might be another foul mouthed unladylike female that gets the hearts' racing under those glasses, as in, if she is ever forced to take them off. grrrrr...

WOOT! It finally starts and my favorite evil good guy is back and with his own sword. Is it just me or does Hichigo make his appearance in the real world rarely? Ichigo did go hollow, but that thing didn't sound or act like Hichigo, just an out fo control Ichigo....

Yeah, it definitely seemed to be just a berserk hollow personality. I suppose HIchigo and Ichigo both had their hands full conversing with each other in the Zangetsu World. Plus, I really doubt HIchigo would let the Vizards just sit on top of him, regardless if they had their swords pointed at him. Like someone mentioned earlier, HIchigo is just too cool to go down like that.

This time by the mighty slipper of Hiyori..
If I didn't know better I'd say that was her zanpakutou's real form..

loved the animation and action.... tomorrow the story of the subs..

though these events are fun to watch - i still can't wait to see the animated hollow ichigo

The "Super" Hiyori Walker™ was my favorite part of the episode. Also I didn't notice it last episode but Sugita Tomokazu aka Gintoki shows up once again playing the silver/white haired vaizard I think he also played Nova from the muppet squad. Looking forward to the next one hopefully the animation makes up for this one since the Hiyori fighting sequence was quite lacking.

Great episode. Indeed, damn that cliffhanger ending! :P Introduction of the Super Hiyori Walker! I thought Hiyori was suppose to be more experienced but she got owned when Ichigo wasn't even in control. I am not sure why Hichigo is 'shrieking' rather than actually talking. Then again he could be 'focusing' inside. I really can't wait to see Lisa in action (and the other Vizards as well) since right now she just looks like a schoolgirl, lol.

Also, lots of new info on Zangetsu, great stuff! I think this is the first time I've seen Hichigo NOT smiling.

Can't wait for next week!

Tough with the cliffhanger ending. I want to see more but that's it until next week, which can't get here fast enough. Well that fight ended in a hurry, when Ichigo goes out of control it's pretty dangerous for anyone no matter who. Was almost expecting Hichigo to show up in the Hiyori fight and mock her or something.

Impressive how much the Vaizard know about what's going on. I mean they'd have to be blind not to have an idea but it was still surprising to find out just how much they knew.

Nice to find out what's going on with Zangetsu. Feel bad for the old guy having Hichigo take over like that. This is going to be a big fight for Ichigo. One battle he really can't afford to lose. Though obviously this isn't going to be an easy one to win, battle of the same bankai.

i was a little surprised when hichigo appeared while fighting hiyori, i didnt expect "it" to growl or make that really wierd sound, i was expecting hichigo to laugh and run and choke hiyori and laugh lol oh well it was an okay episode, i hope next episode will have amazing graphics like the grimm vs ichigo episode

it was good, but... in between the opening and ending sequences, the recap and preview, and then the "golden," all we're left with is about 14 minutes of the episode. *sigh* now another week of waiting.

The one thing i don't like about bleach is every episode ends on a cliffhanger...I think im just going to wait 2 weeks and just watch 2 eps at once....

also wtf is shinji takn a back seat and allowed to be bossed around by hiyori who seems weaker than hichigo....she wetted her pants when hicigo appeared.
