Thought it was golden week...so there IS an episode out then. Is it a lot of filler?

The episode follows 3 pages from the chapter 254, 12 pages from the chapter 255 and 9 from the chapter 256 with about 5 minutes of "fillers" here and there.
Almost 1.5 chapter covered for this episode, not too shabby as far as Shippuden goes.

! wonder if itachi and kisami have changed much? stands to reason that if everybdy elese ages so wuld they.

No i don't think so, besides Itachi is only 20 now

Nice ep, followed the manga nicely and the little bit of fillers were at least related (not like some scene involving people elsewhere who had nothing to do with the current events). Looking forward to next ep. Don't really see how they could mess up the next bit of fighting. The only real fight so far in shippuden is the Gaara VS Deidara fight, which they kind of screwed up by switching back and forth between that and Kakashi's test. Wouldn't really matter much to me if they kept switching between the Kisame and Itachi fights coming next ep, I just hope they don't throw in a lot of useless fillers of people elsewhere

I find that funny, but your right. To tell you the truth I was more intrested in team Kakashi's test

I think this is possibly the best episode thus far for me. They rearranged the fights so that they're starting at the same time, but I guess it hardly makes any difference. Now here's hoping they don't drag the fights out like Deidara's, and we'll be in for a little treat.

Also, I think Golden Week (which is this week) affects manga much more than it affects anime.

i just watched it,it was an ok episode,it wasnt spectacular or anything.We saw gaara...zetsu..and the other akatsuki memebers..
kisama is looking scarier though,before the timeskip i actually couldnt notice the gills...now i do XD
anyways it was nice just to see there reactions and them getting ready for the fights..
next week's episode should be good =D
i hope it should be a 10/10 one!

It was an ok episode for me.

Sakura saying Itachi's name at the end gave me chills, what emotion!

Uchikatsu, edit the name and what's he/she/it going to do out--it implies something for me-anime watcher.

In the anime they never mentioned that name! Just googled who he was...

I had thought it was a nickname for someone's name that was already mentioned.

I had to give this episode a full 10. Holy shit, I don't know if it was because it's setting up to one hell of a fight, but the entire episode had me by the edge of my seat.

the animation wasn't bad, the music was spectacular, and you know you've watched a good episode when the entire thing feels like it was only 10 minutes. Hell, I'm going to watch this episode again.

I haven't felt like this about a naruto episode in a long time.

Holy shit, I don't know if it was because it's setting up to one hell of a fight, but the entire episode had me by the edge of my seat. the animation wasn't bad, the music was spectacular, and you know you've watched a good episode when the entire thing feels like it was only 10 minutes. Hell, I'm going to watch this episode again. I haven't felt like this about a naruto episode in a long time.
