How does a movie so terrible get a sequel? I didn't even think it made much money. The bright side I guess is that it can't possibly be worse then the 1st movie. Or can it...

Eh... looks the same as the last one, and to be honest I wasn't all that impressed with it. But who knows... if it happens to get some good reviews maybe I'll see it. Most likely not... but maybe.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting this one at all.Like you said the first wasn't much good.Especially since they kill off my favorite 2 predators too easy.

But let's see what they whip up in this one.I for one like to see that Alien/Predator hybrid they show in the trailer.

First one was meh, it wasn't scary at all at all and plot was kinda boring. I hope that it will be good but I have a feeling that it is going to be bad.

It doesn't look all that good, but I think i'll watch just cause I really love Aliens & Predators ^_^. It's neat to pair those 2.

I'm also glad it's not in some small obscure town too.

haha oh come on guys...you gotta love the 20 seconds of horrendous death at the end of that trailer...as long as the predator doesnt become BFF with some random person again i'll be happy

I concur....This Trailer as Smex all over it hehe.

The thing I like it...Its being worked on by some people who did 300 also. The Special Effects team and everything. So it means we should atleast have some great deaths...and to be frank...isnt that the point of it? lol.
I love it...The Trailer makes the Predators look like total badasses and the aliens mean ****Ers. And it looks like there is alot of free food for both to feast on.

The only dissapointment is...I dislike the cast more then the 1st. We want badass marines and stuff like that. Not a teen comedy line up

well, the guys who wrote alien and predator 1 and 2 are on board...so there is a little hope. however, my money still says it will suck.

Even if it sucks, I still concur with Kalimah that there will be plenty of deaths in all sorts of gory ways so that should be enough to make it worthwhile to go see it.I specially love how one of the predators blew the heads away from two blonde bimbos in the previews, yeah!.

Total US Gross $80,281,096
International Gross $90,900,000
Worldwide Gross $171,181,096

Well with advertising and budget it was about 100mil.
So it made a good 70mil from just the theater.

Also remember. DVD sales, Show times on TV, etc. My guess is easily over 200mil.

For this one. They also seem to have a better idea what they want done. And looking at it. It looks like it may actually cost less then the first one

Still the first movie just that bad. No matter how you look at it. It's hard to get exited for the sequel. It's just hard. D:

My reaction to the first one was: they COULD have done a most excellent Lovecraft story with these sets and crew... and it would have scared the crap out of everyone.... but alas.... it was just a fancy "kill all the teens at summer camp" with sfx.

Alien 1 was great *gothic horror* .... Alien 2 (aliens) was great "Space Marines vs The Bugs" excitement. After that it just got a bit stupid....

IGN is one of the more intrusively obnoxious websites on the web....

Yep, I couldn't have said it better. Everything just went south after the second Alien movie.

I also think that this movie is gonna suck.

The first movie had the best setting...SETTING!!..nothing else.
i dont know about this one..once you wreck the first part ,it's hard
to get people back for the second.
