What complete series are sitting on AS?

Hi all,

What complete series are sitting on AnimeSuki right now?

I haven't watched many fansubs in AGES, but I've been wanting to get back into it recently. However, I've always hated waiting for episodes, so what complete series would you recomend? Stuff from the last year or two would be good, since I've more or less watched everything before then

Thanks, all!

I'd start with Nodame Cantabile, a comedy with some romance set in a college-level professional music academy. If you want to watch something rather unusual, try Mononoke, a story about a wandering medicine seller who also combats demons. Another good choice which just finished is Dennou Coil, a science-fiction show set in the near future concerning virtual reality. Finally, give Bartender a try, a lovely slice-of-life show about emotions and memory.

All of these are listed on AS series page.

Oh, and let me add Hidamari Sketch to the list, another delightful slice-of-life show about four girls attending an arts high school. Their teacher is the young lady in the Santa costume below.

What kind of series do you like? Romance? Action? Comedy?

There are probably 100+ completed series listed on AS from the last couple years, so it would help if you could narrow it down a bit.

Soooo, the OP wants someone else to go through all the pages and make a list??? O.o

Um, yeah, you need to suggest what types of things you like or you're not going to get useful suggestions. Just scan the series page of Animesuki and read the link notes on the story plots.

Mahoraba: Heartful Days, REC, Lovely*Complex, ..... the rest I can think of have been licensed (Lucky*Star, Kanon2006, Gurren Lagann, etc)

Series that are good that are almost complete for this season are:
Moyashimon, Sketchbook ~full colors~, Minami-ke, Sky Girls, Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei

An old classic story finally adapted to anime is Clannad.

I will recommend School Days. Even though I personally gave the series an overall rating of 6/10, it's not an anime to be missed and I did not regret seeing it. Bokura ga Ita is 7-8/10 on my list, but very enjoyable if you don't mind a lot of drama. sola is also in the 7-8/10 range, but I think I would've enjoyed it more if I watched it without breaks. REC is a short series I rated 9/10 and it is also one of the most uplifting ones, and of course, Canvas 2 ~Niji Iro no Sketch~ is another anime I rated 9/10 and it remained one of the most meaningful anime I've seen.

I haven't watched Claymore yet but I've heard that it's a very good action series.

So just go into Series and choose to omit all the incomplete ones. There's an option.

mononoke if your one for wierd stories with strange artistic unconventional aninimation.....

claymore if you feel you could really go for a nice tall glass of "bad a$$"...raki ruined it for me....he was such a darn "pansy"(not really the word i was goin for...but there might be an audience that would take offense)
