well despite all the good animes that have been out recently, i seem to have run out of ideas on what to watch in between. So im sorta just waiting everyday now for new episodes (lame).

So for the mean time i was hoping i could get a few suggestions... I'm looking for an anime where there is a crazy azz main character who is special or different than others. I would also prefer it to be supernatural, but mechs and other type of war related animes would be great too. To be more specific im looking for something along the lines of a main character as lelouch (code geass) Light (d-note). Just anything where the main character just sticks out and suprises you time and time again lol and has some sorta special power...

Code geass

bleach
trinity blood
d gray man
full metal alchemist
Berzerk
Rosario + Vampire
Gundam 00

I have many other that im forgetting 2 mention as well lol.

You may try Fullmetal Panic. All 3 seasons. It's not like Code Geass or Death Note, but the main character is definitely unique.

If you like smart thinking characters who are a bit on the edge, I'd recommend:

Great Teacher Onizuka (it's about a teacher who used to be a delinquent)

Hellsing (definitely a crazy main character who's an indestructible vampire)

Zombie Loan (two boys who have to hunt zombies in order to stay alive; they get help from a girl classmate who has shinigami eyes)

Tales of the Abyss: This anime involves swords, magical like powers, and the main character is definitely the center of the story. You find out about his background in later episodes and he is definitely considered a "special" character because of what they find out that he is. This is a fantastic anime that is heavy on the action and the adventure. Also, it has some eccentric characters that are very cool.
