Knowing how long her mangas are I sincerely hope she won't kick the bucket before the ending of this manga.

But Kyoukai no Rinne is not your ordinary boy-meets-girl shounen. I sincerely have great expectations here.

Well, THAT was predictable (we are talking Rumiko Takahashi here). But in my case, after watching a ton of stuff, I'd rather have predictable than "throws you for a loop"... especially since "throws you for a loop" drives me crazy more often than not these days...

Having read 32 chapters so far I must say.

Rumiko Takahashi hasn't lost her touch. This manga is funny as hell. Specially the damashigami arc. I couldn't help but pity him. Same as Ranma, he has a jerkass for a dad.

Just read the recent chapter look like Rinne most def is getting feelings for sakura while she seems rather clueless to whats going on.

Well, interesting that this is being released simultaneously in English.

I must admit I am enjoying it, although I have to wonder... does Takahashi have issues with her father? Cause Ranma and Rinne both have some awful fathers... and Inuyasha had some daddy issues to as I recall.

Personally I wish Takahashi would produce another Maison Ikkoku, but another shounen like Ranma is okay too.

Also... Sakura seems to be avoiding the Tsundere label... an interesting switch for Takahashi. Although the most recent chapter has me wondering... is Sakura really that innocent and clueless, or were those comments designed to be so piercingly harsh and only appear so innocent.
