Damnit i cant afford it any longer,this shit sucks. I wont get to watch my new Naruto,Chrno Crusade,Full Metal Alchemist,Maburaho,and possibly Condor Hero.
Good News is on 2 Fronts, 1: I have well over a 100gigs of anime on Disc,adn propbably another 50 on my comp. 2: I can get it turned back on as soon as i get a job,but theres one bad point to this.Its really hard to find a job at were i live.

Hopefully it will only be a month that its disconneted.Tomorrow is when its getting cut off,so Until then im downloading all the latest releases of anime like crazy.

Again i say this sucks.

i've had a job since i've been 13 but i only work over the summer. i'm basically broke now (after buying my laptop, look at my website or profile for specs) and i need a real job, working at my school doesn't cut it. i wonder if i go to japan as an exchange student if i can get a job? anyways, we look forward to seeing you once you get a job. for now you can just ive off neighbor's wireless, right

try harder to look for a job. I mean any job when I was 16 I worked in my uncle's resturent 2 days a week and went to school 5 days a week. I didn't have any days off. It was worth it, I got to buy a lot of stuff people don't normally get to buy around that age (not those spoil brat where they use their parents money for everything). Now I'm going to college and have my own car and I'm still kinda broke but am able to sort of support myself.

I have to agree with you however, that being with no internet is a major pain. No anime, surfing the web ( I do that even at work!), no e-mail, no chatting...wait internet is part of my life now...sad to just think about not having it...

lol...i use lan from my dad because im in middle school right now. Try asking a friend to download it and burn it.

solution A. maybe you can go to the Library to browse the internet.....(only works for where i lived... duno about other places

)
solution B. go to your friends house to dl and buy disc to burnt them yourself....
solution C. get a roomate ... share 1/2 watever you have.... cut the expense a bit.....tat should last you another month? :P
solution D. er.... *%#&%(# i duno anymore~~~

i use my bandwidth like no other person. you probally only have one wireless laptop. i already have 8. my wireless is only 802.11b because i'm too poor to by 802.11g cards for all my laptops. i have a 24 port switch that can handle anything. a switch isn't like a hub, switches transfer the packekts directly to the target instead of cloging up the network by sending them everywhere.

im lucky cause my laptop is g compatible

hopefully my university finishes the g upgrades around campus soon
then i can have even crazier bandwidth usage

I feel your pain many, My sattelite got turned off cause

I couldn't afford to keep my cable modem and the sattelite at the same time so one had to go), ohh well I'll pay for it as soon as I get back from spring break in about 3 weeks from now. Its really a leisure having parents that will dish out cash for their kids while some really suck.

I wonder why everyone feels that they need to create a thread for this. I don't want to be mean or anything...but it's life and would posting it on AS make any difference? Each of us have own problems...posting it sometimes help, but trying to find real solutions is way better.
