I think I've heard about this before, or a similar story. Does she get a disciple and is it already finished as a WN?

edit: Looks like it's not finished yet. I think the one I'm thinking of was a manga or something, maybe a manhua. And maybe she wasn't even a doctor, but an office worker when that was really uncommon at the time.

Spoiler for manga ch5: I love how Maomao lays the smack down on that arrogant servant girl for not only continuing giving her mistress the poison makeup powder that killed her son and is slowly killing her but also ignoring her advice to give her healthy food and disrespecting her for being a commoner despite being sent by the Emperor. PS: Love that Maomao gave her advice to use her "big assets" to please the Emperor in another way. lol __________________
