Heh, I was thinking that Kagami is a great character but Maria will be getting all my support that day! Kagami vs. Maria will be THE match of the 1st Round. Kagami has the edge because she's the #1 popular character from her show, while Maria is #2 (to Hinagiku) from Hayate. But it should be a great match anyway. Wouldn't surprise me to see both of them set 1st Round vote records.If your post header is green, it just means you didn't put "sage" in the email field and that you bumped the thread to the top of the thread index. Sage is recommended but not mandatory, and it has no effect on how your vote is counted.

In fact, I hope Kagami and Maria DRAW in every round until they enter BEST 8.

It just struck me that Maria and Kagami are of the same age, but their appearances are so different.

I still find it hard to place my vote on Kagami, considering that Maria is my favorite character in HnG.

As for my voting, I would pick Kagami, since IMO she is by far the one who has the best chance of beating all the dolls, lolis, and magical girls out there. Maria is a good character and all (her and Hinagiku are my favorite HnG people), but if she does go up against Nagi (which is a given if both advance to top 8) then no doubt Nagi would win over her.

as for maria vs kagami...

imo maria is going to be a one trip pony...even if she does beat kagami she will fall in the upcoming rounds but as for kagami i can see her as being the "strong steady" type when it comes to gaining votes ~ instead of a burst like what maria will achieve kagami would remain in a strong position throughout (but it doesnt mean that i wont vote for maria as she is my favorite out of the pair

LOL for some reason every so often I get asked this question ^^0 They are just from an illustration I found on this artist's website. No indication of who they are so I assume they are original.

I'd be voting for Kagamin since she's one of the few I won't mind seeing win the tournament.. The maid fetish never really did it for me anyway...

Correction. Fate vs Suigintou, assuming they both get through round 1, is the epic match of the second round, so Agent86 is correct when he says Kagamin vs Maria is the epic match of the first round.

And while it was what I expected, I can't help but feel a bit sad over how thoroughly Tabitha was crushed in her match. Spoiler for Tanuki picks for today: Narumi Yui @ Lucky Star This is one of those painful matchups where I would have happily voted for any one of the three if they had been in different groupings. Yui, however, is especially moé for me because of how her behavior changes whenever she learns that her often-absent husband has been able to come home. Before we were married my wife and I dated for almost 5 years while we lived almost 400 miles apart. So I can definitely relate to Yui's circumstances! Ellis @ EL CAZADOR DE LA BRUJA Yes sir! I'm going to support the "taco, taco, tacos" loli-witch today, but it unfortunately has to be at the expense of the very adorable Rin. (I love the way Ryoko Shiraishi voices the tough-but-a-bit-shy female characters) Amano Mishio @ Kanon Only easy choice for me today. I find Mishio very moé on her own merits, I gave up very early on the series that Setsuna is in so I know nothing about her, and while C.C. is a good character she just isn't high on my moémeter.
