Still working on learning Japanese myself, speaking of 10sigh.
He has scanlated extra 3, go forth and search! \ Wow, that was amazing. Priscilla really has gone primal, and reverted to child-like thoughts. It seems like Priscilla was holding back too, regenerating so quickly that Isley did not even have time to react.

It seems like my theory was right, she was never right in the head since her awakening, she is probably not even aware she killed Teresa.
It seems awakening has cracked Priscilla so hard that she is crazier then Ophelia could hope to be.

She looked much more mature in the Extra Scene than when she was with Raki and much more aggressive. It seemed that any second she would obliterate Isley, unless he sworn his loyalty. Yeah, she's crazy. I thought she lost her memory, but it doesn't look that way. She's only blocking unpleasant reminiscences.

My guess is having someone to "protect" her, helped Priscilla calm down, and he promised to help her find her parents, which seems the primary reason for her distress, she does not even seem to understand morality now.
My guess is she blocked out several key memories after her awakening, and is now driving almost completely on instinct, feeding when she feels hungry, (and even she does not understand why she is always hungry) and searching for those closest to her, her family. Man, I cannot even imagine how many villages she has probably leveled in her search.

I just read ES 3, and I have to say that I had no idea that Isley's awakened form was that friggin HUGE. He looked like he was somewhat taller than a normal person when fighting Luciela, but it's hard to have a sense of perspective when the only surroundings left were rocks.
Priscilla is the Takeru Kobayashi of awakened beings for eating guts. She is scarily fast with her insatiable appetite. Having just caught up with the manga from vol. 11 yesterday, I really hope that Miata becomes the anti-Priscilla weapon that is missing in this manga. She is strikingly similar to Priscilla, but seems like she might even be more powerful than Priscilla was before she awakened. The main difference between the two is that Miata has a "mother" (and milk maid) in the form of Clarice. I don't really see her awakening though unless: A)Clarice dies or B)Clarice forms a strong soul-link with her somehow I really love how at this point in the manga, there is more than one main focus in the plot and everything is shaping to be very epic. I could make a list of the things going on at once and feel that every event is just as equally important, such as: - The Fab/lucky 7's quest - The organization's real agenda and motivation for saving humans - Alicia/Beth - Galatea's whereabouts - Raki's activities post-timeskip - Miata/Clarice - What Priscilla could be plotting - What Isley is plotting with Priscilla - Riful needing forces to fight Isley - Rafaela's fate This is by far the most complex shounen series I have ever encountered. I have a question that's been kinda bothering me though: How is Helen able to use the drill sword while still masking her Youki? I thought she needed a lot of Youki to contort/stretch her limbs in any way. |

Well well, ES 3 was good stuff, despite not fulfilling my hopes of a Galatea ES. LOL at Lion King getting WTFPWNED with ease by Prissy, and Clare had so much trouble with him, which makes me hate the path the anime is taking now.
Oh well one more extra scene to go. Who will it be? Has to be a char that hasn't appeared in the extra scenes yet. Has to be a major char, which really narrows down the list. Helen, Deneve, Galatea, Clarice or Miata me thinks. I'd really bite my lip if the last ES was a Raki one....bad enough that he's already ruining the flow in the anime.

Since the manga always generates so much discussion, from now on there will be a new thread for the monthly chapter. This is now for general discussion of the manga and chapters 1-73, ES1 and ES2. Please discuss chapter ES3 and onwards in their own threads.

So Priscilla and Miata are strangely alike. It'd be so easy to manipulate them though - their minds are so simple. No wonder Isley and the Org can control them so well. On the other hand, I bet it wouldn't take much for someone who realizes how fragile their minds are to take advantage of them and manipulate them away from Isley and the Org (maybe that's what Rifel wants with someone who can sense Yoki?).

Strange, am I the only who thinks Miata have some resemblance to old Theresa instead of Priscillia? I dunno she reminded me of Theresa based on her looks. We never get a good look at her face anyway. Perhaps the Organization have cloning technology?
Just a speculation, feel free to disagree.
