Well hello hello
heres my little list: (the order is: best down to the language I'm worst to) Danish - at the year 2000 I moved to Denmark, and there I learned danish, but learned it pretty fast, and speak it very well just like speaking my native language (Kurdish) Kurdish I come from Kurdistan (not sure if that's how to write it in english), and Iraq is part of it, anyway. so the reason I speak that because I lived there, my first 6 years in my life. English - Well, learned at school, and I find it very useful... guess why! French - I was given the choice between german or French, I choosed French, but ... boring class - and not even sure if I will find it useful, except for the grammar (it's the same as danish, and the other languages like English, kurdish etc. .. I suppose.) Arabic - I'm Muslim and have to learn Arabic so I can (solo) read the Quran (Quran = the Islamic ''Bible'') but I really am bad to it. Don't ask why. And last, I'm considering learning the language the Bleach character is speaking, what is it? Mandarin Chinese? |

Fantastisk, genialt, smukt, brilliant, og fransk grammatik har altså ikke så meget at gøre med dansk xD

Bahasa Indonesia - Well it's my native language
English - My secondary language, can't say that I'm fluent at speaking English, but I guess I could speak well. Btw, I actually learn most of English language by playing rpg games (well lesson at school too) German/Deutsch - It's one of the subject at school, I like it, but I could only speak some basic stuff ^__^ |

Oh, well I just heard somewhere that the danish gramma was a bit kind of the same as the french one. tried to compare them, but didn't really work out EDIT: Well, you can probably say something in danish but followed by some english hehe. and just a transalation for what s/he said: That's even more beautiful Fantastic, Genius, Beautifulll, brilliant, and french gramma doesn't have much to do with the danish gramma xD Last edited by Iambankai; 2007-10-12 at 11:55. Reason: Just a little correction in the transalation hehe |

Latvian - my native language, it has very complicated and hard grammar. I love it.
English - I have learned it since first grade, but I only became fluent when started reading and watching anime in it. German - learning for three years, it's such a hardship... But it's better than Russian. Japanese - I can understand some phrases in anime, and I'm going to learn it completely sometime. French - I'm going to learn it, just because I want to. |

My turn.
Latvian - Because I am from Latvia. Russian - Latvia is a Post-Soviet nation, what else do you need for a reason? English - My grandmother taught English in school, also I watched lots of cartoons when I was a kid. German - Seemed like a nice language to learn. (Still learning.)

English - I live in the U.S.A. so I have to know the language.
Tagalog - Was born in the Philippines and lived there for 12 years. Japanese - Studying because I want to live there not only for the anime and technology but also because their history and culture intrigues me. <- Actually the reason why I got into anime. |

English because I was born in the USA, and I was forced to learn English before Spanish
I know a little bit of Spanish, but I'm thinking of learning it a bit later. I'm also taking Japanese classes. When I'm out of College I'd like to work there as an English teacher. And what better place than Japan?! Last edited by Kusion; 2007-10-14 at 23:11. |

Spanish - I was born in Venezuela.
English - At school but, since most of the video games I play are in English I started to study by myself so I could understand what was happening. Also, nowadays is very important to know two or more languages. Japanese - I'm still studying. The reason is so I can understand all the untranslated Light Novel I want to read and, like I said before, it's important to know more than just one language.
