I`m sixteen and I`d like to see that picture (yay fanservice). What now? Why aren`t their novels the same as the japanese originals? And don`t get me started on ranting about how much B-T would translate in SIX F*CKING MONTHS.

The censorship in Vol1 was that Viz guessed that the audience would most likely be the younger audience. Since they had absolutely NO sales from the kiddy section, they must have thought that Shana was more for the High Schoolers, which can handle PG-13 content. Thus, they kept Vol2 the way it is.

i'd rather have baka tsuki-translate the novels . they would probibly have alot more done then just two books if they were translating THAT long....I mean look how fast they translate haruhi. also ,I wonder what they'll do about the incest twins , since i doubt viz will find them acceptable enough for english audiences , not to mention that they were a big influence on shana relising her feelings for yuji.


edit-i also find it retarded that they remove all the fanservice shots , its a SEINEN novel meaning its meant for OLDER guys, not some kiddy picture book meant for 5 year olds

Most likely they'd just have the same last name with no relation. Unless Viz actually trusts the teenage audience.

yea , i woulddent like that though.....im kinda picky when it comes to origanality. and if that were to happen, how would them not bieng related effect shana , since thats what made her relise her feelings ....well one of the main reasons....

btw I dont support incest ( its nasty) . i just dont like it when things arent original

In my opinion, Shana would still see the two as "doing it for pleasure, not love" kind of deal. It doesn't matter whether they're related, but it does pull the originality out a bit.
