Theres no real reason why it isn't licensed. A lot of great series end up that way whereas some you wouldn't expect to be licensed do. You have to leave it up to chance

Without actual proof, I gather San and Masa (pillow cases) are for (legit) sale in Japan. Don't know about Akeno, though I find it hard to believe she would be skipped after they went to the "trouble" of making the art. [And as for the black market--who knows?]

Also, if you attend the larger US anime or comic book conventions this year, you might keep an eye out. I happened to mention the series in proximity to some artist/merchants in the dealers room (last year). They seemed very interested in adding these characters to their inventory of products.

btw someone asked me this and I didnt really know the answer: would you consider seto a "ecchi" comedy? a friend of mine wants to watch it but he doesn't really like ecchi/tons of fan-service.....but it's been so long I cant even remember if seto has any....lol?

There is a little, but I don't think Seto no Hanayome should be considered "ecchi". It's not like it happens every episode, after all.

ha yeah i can only remember a few instances.....i think.(lol@ the feet drying scene in ep 2......but thats prolly the most........ecchi in the show lol...lol and when he's drying off Runa's butt hehee lol)
prolly really hardly nothing compared to most anime out there anyways.

I don't know about legit, but I tried finding them but am having no luck so far.

They must be extremely rare as none of the online sites I go on seem to stock them.

Not to mention that the ecchi in this series isn't as overwhelming as a lot of them out there. Plus, it was all fun.

I've noticed it seems like Nagasumi's mother doesn't really seem to love nagasumi's father (i wish they had names lol).....on WIKI it says for "events that happened".....what are these events or do they just not love each other......and do they ever relove each other? thx

The only part of this question I can answer for certain is that the manga is ongoing, and it appears this particular storyline has not concluded either way.

Spoiler for Father/Mother (sort of):

I have not translated enough to know if there is any specific reason Nagasumi's mother may be falling out of love with his father. However, from the general trend of things, it seems Masa just comes across as a much "cooler" guy, as opposed to a mere salaryman (i.e., Nagasumi's father). That could change if Nagasumi's father ever stood up for himself and "fought" for her. But, given how intimidating Yakuza can be, and that the Father does accept payoffs from them, I would not expect the overall situation to change anytime soon.
