I'm as Gar as they come in many of my anime, however, I also love shows like this, Lovely Complex, etc. One of my top 10 animes is Fushigi Yuugi if you can believe it.

Didn't like Bakura no Ita(or whatever the spelling was), but loved Lovely Complex(it was both a riot comedy wise, and heart-warming in the romance areas once things got going).

Just learned that I have to wait yet another week for an episode?

I barely survived two weeks in Macross Frontier for episode 11.

Man I can't handle all these breaks. Frontier was off a week because of Eurocup (zzzzzz). Sports should not be a reason to postpone my anime fix!

there's nothing wrong with fushigi yuugi even though miaka yells for tomohome way too much lol, i think itazura na kiss to me is one of those shows you can't get sick of the story is simple and pretty easy to relate to.

Just finished watching episode 12! While Irie senior is recovering in the hospital, Naoki felt responsible for what happened and decides to take steps to help out his father's company. Meanwhile Kinnosuke is becoming a hardworking and (fairly) responsible adult, and a new girl arrives on the scene...

I haven't seen episode 12 yet. Until I do .... that's a fairly hard thing to imagine. Kinda mind-blowing actually.

Well I saw the raw and I have to say that despite the fact that I didn't understand many things I did understand the main and this is a very good episode.I can't wait for the subs

No, it's always been Matsumoto Yuuko. Observe (from Vol. 3, pg. 125):

The speech bubble to the right says "Ah, Matsumoto Yuuko"

Next time, don't trust Wikipedia too readily

Christina's English was much worse than Irie's. Couldn't they have found a more suitable seiyuu? Kotoko's antics were pretty cute, and it was nice to see her working together with Reiko Matsumoto to foil the omiai. Also, the scene between Kotoko and Irie in the darkened room was just lovely.

pagan poor Swayin' to the beat Join Date: Dec 2006	Saw the raw myself, and liked the ep too. Spoiler for Ep 12 stuff: The "engrish" cracked me up. As usual the hijinks with Kotoko and Yuuko was funny as well. I was definitely surprised with Kin-chan's "adult" behavior through the ep. If he didn't act much like an idiot through much of the beginning of the series, I'd have a lil more sympathy towards him. I see a raw for d/l is now up too. Waiting for subs...

You wouldn't believe it unless you see it but he is a changed man...so far...he hasn't acted on impulse once, I wonder why the sudden change in personality. Anyway another nice episode. Things are getting more angsty with Irie getting into good relations with a foreign girl. Kotoko going out on a date with Kin was definitely unexpected and it is just so cliched that they bump into Irie and the girl...but she blushed when she saw Kin (eh? wth? ).
