Bah, it's always yoko yoko yoko. Come on, they got to be sick of her by now. Where are the other characters?? And more importantly, where are the Nia figures in this wonderfest????

Some of these have probably been shown before already. Still, anything but Yoko is refreshing.

Unfortunately these are not made by the usual major figure companies, so it'll be hard buying them at all.



After scrutinizing countless of blogs on Wonderfest, this is the only new upcoming Nia figure by a major company. And seriously, I think the sculpting sucks. Kotobukiya... you suck at figures.

I'm probably the only one he feels this way, but I've about had it with Yoko. Nia isn't my favorite character, but right now, I'd rather see more of her.

I've never been really fond of Yoko either. Don't hate her, but I like the other characters more. Unfortunately, her appearance lends itself to more figures I suppose.

It does seem like Gainax really sat on their collective asses in licensing characters for figure production. I'm wondering if they hope to tie figure sales into the movie buzz.

About the overabundance of Yoko merchandise...to quote someone on 2ch, the marketers seem to be thinking like this:

Yoko sells = Yoko is popular!
Yoko doesn't sell = Gurren Lagann doesn't sell

I mean, it's not like we have much to choose from. :/ But at least more keychains and stuff are coming out thanks to the movie.

Revoltech imho will release male figures of Gurren Laggan. Since they've started on Hokuto Shinken why not Kamina and Simon.

Hmm, I was hoping the TTGL revoltech would be taller than the other revoltechs, at least 1.5 times... guess I was being too hopeful.

130mm tall, that's about the average height of revoltechs. And if that includes the top of the flames... than it's even shorter than GL.

Unless they have something special going on, a Revoltech is usually about $17.00 US. A few are around $20
