And it still does not make sense. Because, as you saw, it made for a completely massive deus ex machina at the end. Its not even explained how they left the sealed Sword of all things. That does not make sense. So pardon me if I stick with my judgement.

Code Geass don't always do thigns according to logic you know. Then, again, that's the major flaw (if one wants to see it as such) with fiction in general...
