Damn , I don't even like Yoko...but this is awesome , I want it already .

Is this going to be a pre-painted figure ? or the kind of thing you need to make yourself ?

well, at least he's consistent --- and I kind of find the sparcity of Nia kind of odd. Killer Yoko though...

Yoko's a safe move, that's why she is made so much. I mean, if they make a ass ton of yoko fig's, people will buy them...where as Nia tends to be more risky when on a broader scale.

We're talking japanese tastes here.... there's a clear well-established market for "special interests" (the elfin petite girl). Many such figures sell quite well. Gurren Lagann also did quite well in the ratings and in general merchandise sales. So in that respect it is rather odd.

Then again... I've seen some releases of figures several years after the buzz faded so the calculations of the figure makers can be pretty mysterious.

That's a silly reason. Who the hell says that making Nia merchandise won't sell? Give me hard numbers that more Japanese people prefer Yoko to Nia. And I don't care about what you guys think. You only like Yoko because of her breasts. Come on, I know many other red-haired big busted characters that are way better than Yoko. Mizuho from Onegai Sensei, Forte from Galaxy Angel, Corticarte from Polyphonica, Ignis from Jingai Makyou, Tamaki from To Heart2 and god knows how many others. All better than Yoko.

And Nia has four versions! Loli, Loli with short hair, Messenger Nia and Adult Nia. So many freaking possibilities! Naked Nia in Simon's cape and Wedding dress Nia! What the hell? Why Why?

My bet is that Gainax is keeping the rights to Nia merchandise tightly for some sick reason. Assholes.

At least in Amazon, the Nia Portrait Book sold better tan Yoko’s. I also remember her being more popular on that old poll Gainax made back in January. Problem is that due to her hair and overall "gentle" attributes it’s really much harder to sculpt a Nia figurine than a Yoko figurine.

on the contrary, I have a distinct preference to small breasts. No, I don't have any actual statictics about the yoko>nia abundance, but that's just what I thought at the time...

Kick ass fighting video game!

To bad it's MUGEN...

As for me a Yoko fan and TTGL fan also I want a Nia figure also. Hope after a few more months revoltech would come up with a figure of her. Love poseable figures, though as I've said before her cape might be the one hindering her make. They should at least make the short hair version with an inter changeable long hair version since Nia's there is not as bulky. And most importantly I WANT A KAMINA FIGURE!!! They've released HNK revoltech revolution a men line hope Kamina and Simon are next in line.

Does anyone know about the Gurren-Lagann Plush dolls? The only place I've seen them for sale is the Gainax website... are there any other places I can find them?
