Since everything has been said regarding this episode, I'll just say one thing about my favorite part of the episode:

More so than the fact that it looked so freaking BEAUTIFUL in Trans-am, or that it kicked lots of ass, or simply the obscene amount of GN Particles released ( ), what really made the scene was

The Music. 00 Gundam's epic BGM made it COMPLETE

I haven't felt such amounts of AWESOME!!!!!! in a mobile suit's debut since Freedom Gundam saved Archangel to the tune of Meteor

When you're in the state that Billy is in, I don't think he has the clarity to remember a passing shot of Setsuna from 4 years ago.

Setsuna and the 00 had an amazing entrance. It seems the GN-X has anti-beam fields it can project from a grenade-esque object...?


I think the Ahead captain from the last episode got offed.

that is a anti-beam depth charge it disperses microscopic particles like prisms that refract or reflect beams reducing their range they have been a staple in gundam since it began.

It's 5 years, not 4. S2 takes place a year AFTER the epilogue of S1.

Well, the typical explanation from UC of anti-beam depth charges was that they dispersed beam energy through ablation - basically letting the beam waste it's energy overcoming the defensive smoke screen, thus whittling the beam to nothingness.

And Anti-beam depth charges were also used in SEED, so it wasn't really a surprise to see it here, though always nice.

i cant imagine what is it like if trans-am is fully operational for 00 gundam

that didn't happen in Destiny, it happened in Seed i recall. during the battle in Josh-A (iirc) when ArchAngel nearly gets shot in the bridge and Freedom fires from above and flies down and hovers in front of the ArchAngel

Gundam 00 s2 ep 2 is a matter of pairS.

1- Soma's (I dreamt of them months ago, now they are!!!). She 's also taller and on her own (i havnt seen sergei anywhere this time). With that small part with her in the endingn I have great expectations on her.

2- Gundam 00's.

3- and the two lockon stratos.


Gundam 00's first fight was too short... I d'like to see more of those twin GN drives, but this power, it's just insane ! I love the way Livonz pronounced Aeolia name and how a 200 year old guy still managed to screw his plans, even dead.

The ending in very interesting.It's unusual to see that much of informations/hints in an ending and it's got a lot of symbols inside too. I love it.

actually, setsuna askes 00 to "wake up" because there was O gundam's drive with Exia's drive and that "he" was here 2. It's like he feels he was the final part missing for 00 gundam.

the reason y sumeragi was walking out billy during her drinking spreed was becos, he told her to stop drinking so much and that he can't take care of her like this.

this ep was great, it nice to see they really didn't waste alot of time presuading each character to join, they manage to get 2 in 1 episode! In some anime they seriously spend 1 ep per person - where u see the character sulk for 15 mins of that ep..........

One thing I only noticed now on rewatch...

It seems that GN Particles can be made to be highly volatile. The plan for the engagement of the Ahead platoon was not necessarily to destroy them via the GN Missile barrage, but to scatter GN Particles all over the place, then use Seravee and the GN Bazooka to blow it up, turning the entire place into one big FAB in space.

jeez...the GN Sword II rifle mode sure packs a punch.

Exia couldn't even scratch the GN-X with a pistol shot hell Dynames sniper rifle couldnt either and this thing takes out the new model in one blast..badass
