Dragon Ball as a kid. Though what really got me into anime (many years later) was my first fansubbed series, Fullmetal Alchemist. Watched all 51 episodes in 3 days and after that started eating up series after series.

Admittedly, Dragonball Z was my first anime. Looking back on it now, it wasn't all that great, but I totally loved it as a kid. Rurouni Kenshin was the first manga that I read, and the first series I took seriously.

If Pokemon is left to the side, then Cowboy Bebop.

Ya, I was lucky.

I grew up on Pokemon, but back then it was just "cartoons" for me. So, InuYasha.

Well, I saw animes like Pokémon, DBZ, Sailor Moon, and Tenchi Muyo when I was little, but my first real anime was Yu Yu Hakusho.

Uhh.. It's either Doraemon, Fist of the North Star, or Ronin Warriors. I honestly can't remember which one I saw first though.
