Never been a fan of him in a big way (Well, thinking now, I'm not a person who idolize singers that much), but I remember liking his songs - like 'Smooth Criminal', 'Heal the World', Don't Stop 'Til You get Enough' etc.
Well, Rest In Peace, Michael Jackson. Don't worry, I'll never forget your songs... |

Honestly, at one point, I got really sick of that dance. Since all around me people were doing those moves to get the attention of the opposite gender. But, after the era changed, and after people started not to pay that much attention to it, watching it started to give a really good classic feeling.

Since I've seen a few negative posts already I'll be clear on this.
No one is saying that a contrary opinion is bad. However posts made in poor tastes are unwelcome. We don't need "humor" or people who can't get their facts straight when they make a hate post about a dead person. If the sum of your post is "good riddance" or "let's have some laughs at the expense of a dead guy", don't bother replying to this thread. If you can't resist those urges, don't be surprised if there's some consequences to your actions. Thanks.

When I was a little girl, I was scared of him especially when I saw his zombie music video But he was a legend and he achieved so many things. So I'm also sad that he's dead. His life was filled with so many challenges and trials but he was such a wonderful performer.

I loved Michael Jackson's music when I was a kid, and I still like the stuff he did from the 80's today, so I am really upset that he suffered an umtimley death. Sure he was kind of a fruit cake, but he was a hell of an entertainer and I try not to let my personal views of someone get in the way of how I feel about their product, and Michael had a great product. I think MJ did quite well to survive the media industry up to the age of 50 for a man whose fame was so phenomenal.
Despite the blemish and scandals that tainted his reputation in his later years, it didn't change the fact this man was an international icon during the 80s till late 90s. R.I.P MJ

i was amazed when i first saw the moonwalk, tried to do it unsucessfully. listnd to his music and was uplifted. and now he's along with Lennon, Cobain, freddy mercury and Presely making great music in the afterlife.
one of the best things i heard on the news was that "it was the death of the last legends". so true....

What a bad day for me, hearing the news while having a cup of coffee in the morning.
I used to imitate his moon walking way back in high school. May you rest in peace, King of Pop.

I'd hardly consider myself anywhere near a Michael Jackson fanboy, but I guess it got to the point where people who made the tasteless jokes somehow got offended when you point out how stupid they're being. He made good music, he went through tabloid hell, yes the man lived a odd life, but that's due in part to how he was brought up. I know it's not the same for others, but doesn't make it untrue. I've always poised the question to people....if the most popular/famous person in the world molested your kid...would you see justice done and put him in jail? or fall to greed despite whatever trauma your child has suffered, just to get paid? The fact those people took the money, gave me my doubts. |

Yeah I agree with DjTrizz. We need people like Solace more to keep control in check. Now is not the the time for sick jokes, I can't imagine myself being the butt of a jest when I'm dead; if considering there is an afterlife.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson. R.I.P.
I really hope you're in a better place. I really hope you are. I liked his music even when he became the elephant man though I din't pay much attention to him. But heck I grew up with his music and when I went to school in england during P.E. we even re-enacted (tried to) the Thriller as part of class. If didn't go over the deep end he could have been one of the greatest musicians in modern music history. R.I.P.
