Nah, Dan is nowhere near as annoying as Shin was.

And I keep getting this 5v5 feeling in future matches. Like c'mon, Flora hasn't done much basquatting (lol) since episode 7, and Rouge is going to be bound to make a return sometime soon.

Wow... what an amazing new OP and episode. Though could they possibly have been anymore obvious with the product placement?

Getting Nike's makes you glow with power and have insane grip? Falcon's team surely had no Nike's.... how in the world were they getting all that grip? Reebok's?

Wicked. Not only does Eclipse have "Futari no Yakusoku" on the way, the Pony Canyon listings reveal they're getting an album release too. They're doing pretty good for a fictional band.

It's sad to see Rogue go, but great to see Dan doing something so elaborate for a particular someone. I don't think he's done something so deliberate for anyone else other than Coco.

I don't think konart is saying there's a problem with Dan being motivated by his sister. Rather, konart appears to just be pointing it out as a similarity between Dan and Shinn from Gundam Seed Destiny.

I have news from Catsuka. Thomas Romain says that like in the case of the first OP, a proper animation won't be coming for a few episodes. He also says that he's not a fan of the new OP song.

just finish watching episode 14, the build up character sela and ice man is ok . but it still kinda boring
the new op and ed not as good as the one before

so the new director in next episode.

Yea I'm not terribly fond of the new OP/ED...Probably just go to skipping em everytime like most series...

Pretty nice episode all around I just hope the director change will cut out some of are oh so pointless princess waxing poetically in the background about storms and wind all the time...

I'm sure there's a reason to what Flora's been saying. It's been hinted since the beginning that she's definitely not normal. We're just barely halfway through a two-cour show, and I'm sure the answers will come in time.

as far as i know, the new director doesn't take over till episode 17. only if they remade the last 2 episode the previous director had already done.

I'm sure their will be...But there's plenty of better ways for them to convey that then her sitting around chewing up screentime firing off vagueries like she's reading through bad fortune cookie slips no?

Cirocco Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2009	Spoiler for ep 14: I hope this episode marks the return of the Basquash crew, with more character interactions between the members (not just Dan, Sela, and Iceman), more so than the previous episodes. Though the side-story of both Iceman and Sela is interesting, I'm not too keen on the approach. Each side-story feels more like a short snippet, with no depth. But it sets up motivation and conflicts nicely, I suppose. And even Dan shows promise, displaying surprising humility in handing the ball to someone else besides his over-inflated ego. I'm still not finding much solidarity with Flora and her hazy quasi-mystical premonitions and quips. Out of the blue she has become the voice and conscious of team Basquash when she finds time to narrate. Oh yeah, Nike got their money's worth in this episode. I await the next episode.
