God, they were just killing time like crazy at the end of this episode. They didn't even bother to hide all the repeated animation and that stupid shot of the clock. 1/10

9/10

I rolled around laughing for a while.
The ticking of the clock at the end was very interesting... I haven't seen that done before.

Well, about the only thing comparable to this would be an endless recursion of the End of Evangelion... at this rate. Maybe convince Gainax to reanimated the end for a few more times at least...

at any rate, some people in 2ch have also burned out like white ash by this point.

It takes less time for Goku to summon a spirit bomb than it takes for this arc to end.

Okay, I'm not sure if the streaming video I was watching was glitching, but when Kyon was angsting on what to do to keep Haruhi happy, did I hear Haruhi say the same phrase 3 times over?

I haven't actually seen the episode yet, but judging by everyone's reactions here and on 2ch, it hasn't ended yet. No surprises there.

Ah well, I expected this. Now I hope they actually do make eight episodes of Endless Eight, since KyoAni has already gone this far. Might as well finish what they started!

In the end, Kyon was drawing an 8 on Haruhi's paper?

i will say though regardless of the repetition they sure know how to make the final scene suspenseful....I was literally yelling "GOOOOOOOOOO KYON!!!!!" at that point...props KyoAni for actually getting a reaction out of me every week with the same material

Ya (I wanted to put a post without those parentheses but it didn't work).

Edit: It was an 8 looking like ∞ because he was drawing it endlessly.

They looped the same final scene with Haruhi saying "I'll give you guys tomorrow off etc." four times in a row while Kyon was thinking.

Azu-nyan is Azusa, one of the best characters from K-ON.

I might. Eventually... I have more things to watch first.
Like Trigun, CLANNAD and Gurren Lagann, to name a few.

Also, thankyou.

If you're somehow implying that this episode had a K-ONified art style, I disagree.

Did you check everyone's clothes to see if they were the same? I was thinking it would be an interesting way to run through tons of iterations. Just repeat the same scene over and over with slightly different positions of everyone. Remember the rapid slideshow of Haruhi when Kyon was naming off the different hairstyles she wore throughout the week? I thought something similar to that was about to happen. Maybe that's what we need... 5 minutes of Kyon failing in the restaurant over and over until he gets it right.
