I think the mods will have commenced Exterminatus before that, though.

Just be warned, that if this place starts collapsing into a chan because of this, I'm clearing the place out and commencing full scale Class Alpha Orbit-To-Surface Bombardment... Starting with Rick.

The Mods won't be too happy with me for the collatteral damage, but the infection will at least be contained.
Should I start running?

Does anyone have that old pic that describes nanoha? The one with "math" and goes like (something - never ending story - mind games)+(something something something)=Nanoha? I'm trying to look through the thread since I'm pretty sure I saw it here... but at 1k pages figured I should ask and se if anyone has a handy link heh.

True, but each season doesn't drag out for 60 episodes with no real conclusion like *some* Shonen series do... 13-26 episodes a season, that's good enough for me.

... I watch too much Mecha anime, I can't stand long seasons anymore.

Long series certainly don't have to be bad at all... but some just are. Like for example (probably a classic example here) in DBZ where it's like "the world is ending in 5 minutes!" then 10 episodes later "this world now has 4 minutes left!" Now THAT is what they mean by "never ending story" imo. At least in Nanoha, even if it's still going on, the story arcs are resolved decently (in the anime, can't speak for manga) and it doesn't just drag on and on like that.

*facepalm*

The math graphic says that Nanoha is a shonen series MINUS the never-ending story of crap filler, MINUS the stupid mind games, multiplied by magical girl plus story plus Gratuitous Engrish.

I disagree though.

The correct formula is:

(Super Robot - Humongous Mecha) x (Magical girl + Plot + Yuri Subtext) + Awesome^3 = Nanoha.

Oh yeah sometimes they do get moments of Surprisingly Good English.

When the Devices started speaking complete sentences, though...

Really, the English of the devices was nice until they tried actively participating in conversations and trying to talk more. Then it got a bit annoying.

I didn't mind it. They spoke better than most native Americans.

Doesn't that sentence work either way? I mean, they do speak better than some of both groups.
